I think he wants back in, and probably would love to replace Specter. Any thoughts?

Specter isn't up for reelection until 2010. By that time, Santorum will have been out of office for nearly 4 years - that's a very long time in a political life.

What's with all the Santorum questions, Brad?

Specter is very popular in PA, while Santorum just got thrown out. Santorum would not stand a chance against Specter.

No, Pat Toomey stands a better chance. He's a better candidate, doesn't have all the negatives that Santorum is saddled with, and came close to defeating Spector last time. Probably if Santorum would have had the guts to back him instead of supporting Spector, Toomey would have won.

One can only hope.... Rick gets it and would make a fine Senator again. Hell he'd make a decent president.... at least as good as anyone else that's running from either party.
