Do you like the idea of a female president? do you like the idea of an african american president? what do you think will happen if democrats will continue to control the house, senate, AND have a president? In your opinion, who will be our next president and vice president?

Right now all except two states (Maine and Nebraska) have a "Winner Take All" rule for their Electoral College votes. This has been promoted by the major parties as it helps solidify their control and shut out third party candidates from playing the role of "Kingmaker". Given the fiascos of recent presidential elections nationwide, do you think we should reform or eliminate the Electoral College?

I would just like to know who is tired of these men running this country into the ground. I would like to know who is ready for something different. How many of you are ready for a women president? How many of you are ready for a president of a different race? Let me know

Why do you care? Won't you ultimately be focused on the party's choice to run against your party's choice? Why aren't you currently focused on the Republican primaries?

Right now we have a choice between two sides of the same coin - both parties put party politics and influence peddlers above national interests to one degree or another. If we instituted a Public Funding policy for US elections, and eliminated all private donations, would it allow a third political party to become viable and would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

If you do not watch some C-Span then you have no sense of what is going on except the little (slanted news) you read in print or watch on your ABC, CBS or Fox channel. Everyone should have to watch our government at work before voting. I hear many people say I am not voting for him or her because he she looks funny or I saw or heard this or that on T.V. but they only say I will vote for him or her because I like him or her. LIKE has nothing to do with what a politician will or has voted for.

What does it mean when a candidate is running for office and he steals votes from another candidate running for the same office?

I expect free healthcare, because its my right. What other free stuff can I expect from the candidates? Cable TV is getting expensive, My car insurance is way too high, and forget about me having to pay for gasoline! Do these politicians just expect me to stay in my house and read books all day until I get sick and die from lack of healthcare?
When will we step out of the dark ages and start taking better care of people like me?

I have heard about this informally and anecdotally, but cannot find a specific citation documenting this.
