Should we Reform the Electoral College so that Votes are Allocated by Congressional District?

Right now all except two states (Maine and Nebraska) have a "Winner Take All" rule for their Electoral College votes. This has been promoted by the major parties as it helps solidify their control and shut out third party candidates from playing the role of "Kingmaker". Given the fiascos of recent presidential elections nationwide, do you think we should reform or eliminate the Electoral College?
