I think there are alot better representives for women out there than Senator Clinton. Married to a lier and a cheat and accepts it is not a positive role model for the country. Tell me what you think.

So in a world of differences, is it right to discriminate because of ones religion?

Although the American Constitution includeds freedom of religion, are individulas of other religions not disriminated against in politics?

All this comes down to is the separation of church and state: something this country has seemingly forgotten about over the past presidential term and a half. Funny how that happened when the ex-majority party suddenly became such hot heads for God and Christians. You know what they thought? “Hey, people are stupid enough to take this into consideration, then we can sneak everything behind their back!”

This is why we have red states and blue states. When election time comes running through, it's never an issue of our country's problems anymore, it's all about "not being patriotic" or "running too far away from Christian influence". Where is God in Iraq? Where was God in Vietnam?

I was surprised to find a "news" link on yahoo was actually not news but an article paid for by the Democratic National Committee. It was a derogatory claim about a Republican. At the bottom it says, "Paid for and authorized by the Democratic National Committee."

Isn't there some election laws that prevent this? For instance let's say Fox News carried an advertisement from the RNC as a news story... I don't think I've ever seen that before so I suspect there must be a law against it. I certaintly haven't seen it on Yahoo or Google before. Anyone know anything about this stuff?

I'm a Junior with a double major in Political Science and International Business. I must admit that I didn't know anything about politics outside of what I saw on TV and what other people told me! Not until I changed my major and realized how important politics and government is to everything. School has truly taught me the importance of extensive research, moral reasoning, and most importantly...FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although this is totally against what America "so-called" stands for...

After reading peoples answers/comments about each presidential candidate I must admit that I think that only people who are educated about ploitics and candidates should be allowed to vote.

It really bothers me that people vote for superfical reasons! What a waste of vote that could have went towards a good candidate.

Yahoo!Answers has proven that most Americans aren't smart enough to vote!

Am I the only one who feels this way??!!

From what i hear a muslim is about to run for president? NOTHING aginst muslims its just that i hear nobody can run for president unless they were born in this country? And another thing i hear from my mom is that if muslim runs for president and they get the job then America will be just like irac. This could be a bad thing because muslims come from irac and if one gets to be president then women will have to cover their hair and men can beat their wives no matter what the reason is? I just want to know if muslims can run for president? NOTHING and i REPEAT NOTHING agist muslims or anybody else!

If, though highly unlikely, Colin Powell decided to come out of retirement, would you vote, or at least consider voting, for him in the 2008 Presidential election?

If you are a Republican, would you vote, or consider voting, for him in the primary? The general election?

Democrats and others, would you vote, or consider voting, for him in the general election?

Based on the situation America is in, do you think that we are ready to have a female or non caucasion president?

2007-01-26 09:13:14 · 12 answers · asked by critter 2

All you hear is that the only reason Bush got elected was because his dad was president. His dad got him out of military service, his dad wanted the war in Iraq, etc.

However, isn't it JUST AS OBVIOUS (if not more so) that the ONLY reason Hillary got elected in New York is because she was married to slick Willie, the Democrat's best friend?

Do they think she would have ANY politicial future if it were not for her husband?

And doesn't it scare ANYONE that, if she gets elected, we will have had (after her first term) 24 years - 6 terms of Presidents - from 2 different families?

Will the Republicans and the Democrats become the Bush's ad the Clinton's?
