I am a loyal Democrat and want to see our best, most inclusive, most bi-partisan candidate running for President. Hiilary is so hated and is such a derisive, self-centered person, I am afraid she would drive a wedge through this country larger than the one Bush has already driven into our hearts.

As an African-American I am partial to Obama. I am going to vote for him or someone other than Hillary. Are there any other Democrats afraid of Hillary? Could we be headed towards civil war down the road 20 or 30 years?

It seems Alexander Hamilton was right, "A Democracy can only survive until the electorate realises they can vote open the doors of the treasury".

Go Bears!

It seems to me both extremes have "alterior" motives for getting into office.
It seems their thirst for power know no bounds including American lives.

No matter which way you vote remember what they promise then hold them accountable for their actions.

The outcomes of backroom deals seem to reveal the nature of their true agendas.

I mean an aweful lot of people will not vote for the big two party's anymore. They just don't vote. Independants could do very well in the next election. How well will they do in '08 in your opinion

If he became President, the first thing he could do is finish counting the Florida votes. We need him badly as a country. He could restore the Worlds faith in America again, to get us back on the right track so the World can believe that our country can be a moral leader again.

I personally vote based on issues and values not race and religion. In some ways my vote is swayed by religion because I am pro-life and against homosexual marriage and those controversial subjects. I am Christian, and I would be willing to vote for an Islamic president, or an Atheist president, or a black one or an Asian-American one. I am just wondering if you are an atheist, are you more likely to vote for an atheist with different values or a Christian with the same values. Or if you are white, would you vote for a president that had a plan you didn't support, just to avoid having a black president? I don't want anyone to not answer in order to be politically correct, because I do want honest answers, but I hope no one will be outright rude and racist when they answer.

This is regarding the Electoral system. Considering when the Constitution came into effect, the vast population of Americans were poorly educated farmers. Perhaps the architects of our government thought giving the population the power of electing the highest office in the land was too great. Now days we are generally more educated and informed of candidates and issues. Why can we not amend the Consitution to allow direct voting of the President? Are there pros and cons? What do you all think of the system?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack HusseinObama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii when Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school." Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

With the exception of getting elected, and getting into the public eye....can you name anything he has done?

Don't say he's charismatic or personable, I want to hear about WHAT he has done.

Don't take the easy road, tell me what he has done, and why you support him.

Let's face it, Hilary is not the best for the job. However, a lot of people want to vote for her to become the first female president. I think there should be another woman running that is better than Hilary. What are your thoughts?

Could it be because he's Black (sort of)?

Could it be because of his Muslim upbringing?

Could it be the confidence inspired by his traditional Red-White & Blue All Ameican first, "catchy" middle and last names?

Could it be because he was on the cover of People magazine?

Could it be his Harvard Education as a minority quota student?

What has this individual done for his country in the way of military service?
