Its interesting that most criticism is coming from the Sun, at the moment a Labour supporting newspaper, my guess is yes to an extent - discrediting him to pave the way for Brown to become leader, but really the mess he's made of some things in the past few weeks were bound to attract criticism for all sides.

As a Labour party member myself, I really dislike John Reid, and I'm quite pleased at the irony of his undoing coming from the Sun, when he spends so much of his time as Home Secretary pandering to their headlines.

I accept as true with you, Charles Clark gave the impact of an upload for Toby Jugs, yet John Reid is the in user-friendly words Labour flesh presser i like in the present day. I perhaps going insane, yet he seems to speak with some sincerity, and as he placed it at the same time as he were given the pastime, " i imagine i have been exceeded the poison challis ". Gorden Brown retains attempting to screw him up because he's conscious he's the in user-friendly words contender for the subsequent PM, so he's in a demanding position on the mo. i might want to provide him extra time earlier passing judgement on his skills.

Im sure many of the left-wing in the Labour party are more then happy to put the boot into Reid, and im one of them.
However, we must realise the home office is a stupidly huge organization that needs radical reform. It is always on th brink of crisis, especially when headline-junky politicians keep trying to implement their own personal initiatives.
