If it was these two only, I'd vote McCain. He's not always right, but he's a national hero and a military vet.

McCain is probably the only person on the planet that could get me to vote for Hillary. If I can't tell the difference, I may as well allow the Democrats to screw things up. That said, no one named Bush or Clinton will be on the 2008 ballot.

I have yet to research McCain, but so far I have researched Hillary and I would definitely vote for her. She has made so many advancements in women's and children's rights and care, and she is very involved with the well being of our nation. She has great experience, and she will have the help of her husband just as he had hers when he was president. She has also been the first to break many barriers and boundaries, and she inspires many women not only in America, but in other countries as well to stand up for themselves and be all that they can be. In today's society and especially after the crisis involving America and the middle east, EVERYONE, men as well as women and children, have to stand up to be all they can be. America is fragile right now, and has been for the past six years. Hillary Clinton is the strength that America needs, and she has even come together with people that previously opposed her as well as Bill in order to be a louder voice and make positive changes for our nation. We need someone who does whatever it takes to come together and make much needed changes, and Hillary Clinton is the person for that.

I would rather have somebody else frankly. Gulliani could make the ballot.
Anyway, its a tough choice-- I'm a dem but would lean towards McCain on this one. I'd have to see how each campaigns and where "They say" they stand on the issues in 08- its too early to tell now.

It's not going to come down to these two.
But to answer your question, if McCain gets the next 8 years, won't he turn 80 while he's in office? That's a big downer for his candidacy. The question is "can he function in the office?"

Even though I honor Senator McCain for his military service to our country, I would not vote for him because he is all for the war in Iraq & for sending in more troops.
Senator Hillary Clinton initially was in favor of the war but when she found out that we were at war due to false information, she changed her mind & no longer backed this war.
So, between the two I would vote for Senator Clinton.

McCain, just because I know most foreigners want Hillary. We vote for whats best for our interests, not theirs. McCain is a vet, a hero. Hillary, she's just there because of her husband, who was she before him?

given the choices youve described...pulling my fingernails out slowly and deliberately seems to be more reasonalble...eight years of the clinton...legacy and ....character...is more than i can stand and john mccain doesnt seem to have the character and charisma to solve the very real problems we have now. my answer is neither.
