This Muslim activist incited the civil disturbance and threats that caused police to forcibly remove six Muslim Imams from a U.S. Airways flight on 11/20/06. One of these was Omar Shahin, who served as a fundraiser for a Hamas front, and who ran a mosque in Tucson attended by several al-Qaida operatives including a hijacker who flew the plane into the Pentagon. In less than two years from now, the voters of the United States of America will have to elect the 44th President of the United States of Amerca. Hillary Clinton is the heavily favored to get the Democratic Nominee for President and there is a very vague chance that Jeb Bush could seek the Republican nominee for President.
In this hypothetical scenario, it the 2008 Presidential Election was between Former First Lady and NY Senator Hillary Clinton and the Governor of Florida Jeb Bush (who is a brother of President George W. Bush) were to be the Democratic and Republican nominees, how do you think the election would play out? Would it be like the 1992 Election between Clinton and Bush or would there be a lot of negativity in the campaign? Also, who would you want to see win and who do you believe would actually win in this scenario?

In George Washington's first State of the Union Address, he warned America against using a bi-partisan system.

As far as I can see, there's no possible way the candidates that we have running every four years are the best people in the country that would want to be president, (if they are, heaven help us). I'm not saying that Independents have been better than Republicans or Democrats, but it's pretty obvious that presidential elections have come down to choosing the lesser of two morons...

So what would logically dispel the bi-partisan system? Obviously it's not two incompetent and inept candidates, 2004 shot that theory down. Is the only visible end a schism in the parties (which is a remote possibility considering the knowledge that if your party divides you lose the election). Would it take an amazing Independent?

Will it end? If so, how and when?

I am not keeping up with him, but I am curious as to why so many people seem to adore him. I do know that he has been in the Senate a very short time, and has written a book. Has anyone read it?

In general, what is so appealing about him? I hear is a moderate candidate, but has he done anything? Or is he just a disgruntled idealist trying to appeal to a wide voter base? What are your OPINIONS? That's right, rant or rave away. I just would like to know what people think about him since I've never heard about him that much.

Thanks

If there were two candidates for the presidency (or anything, I suppose) who shared your political beliefs equally, would you vote for a black man or a white woman?

The killers finally got convicted by courts. Do you think that LK Advani- MM Joshi, Vinay Katiyar will also be sentenced for organising mass riots and inciting people to kill during Babri Masjid Demolotion? Do they deserve such sentences. Congress is also responsible for killing of (suicides) because of price rise and hunger and poverty. What next?

I was watching the news last night, and heard that she might run. I told my friend about this, and he said "I don't think the rest of the world would take us seriously if we had a woman as our president." I disagree with this, it would set examples for the rest of the world, and would be a new experiance. Anyways, if she did run for the white house, would you vote for her?
She's a democrat, and Bill Clinton's wife.
I'd vote for her...

My feeling is that if we vote for the "Lesser-of-the-two-evils" we are still promoting evil. Why does it feel like we are forced to only vote for one of two political parties when there are countless others out there? If we want change in this country, voting for one of the two main parties isn't going to do anything because they are equally corrupt. Democans and Republicrats are essentially the same party; they both impose their morality by limiting our freedom. It seems a lot of people share these views but they continue to play their game. Why is this?
