I am not keeping up with him, but I am curious as to why so many people seem to adore him. I do know that he has been in the Senate a very short time, and has written a book. Has anyone read it?

In general, what is so appealing about him? I hear is a moderate candidate, but has he done anything? Or is he just a disgruntled idealist trying to appeal to a wide voter base? What are your OPINIONS? That's right, rant or rave away. I just would like to know what people think about him since I've never heard about him that much.

Thanks

Thanks for the answers so far. It sort of matches up with what I thought: People are more attracted to his ideology, his demeanor, his appearance than anything else. I like that. But I need substance and experience. Has he put forward any significant changes in Congress or anything like that?

He is a great speaker and very charismatic. He is also humble and really does have some good ideas. He is a moderate Democrat which means he will also appeal to some Republicans.

I live in Illinois and he made lots of promises but hasnt backed them up like a true politician that once they are elected they change. He promised to fulfill his term but now is talking about running for president. I think some of his appeal is the fact that he tells people what they want to hear. He waffles on many issues. I think he has plenty of charisma but not enough experience.

I didn't think he had any real appeal. I suppose the DNC
may have found another possible messiah, but as far as I'm concerned he just another recycled Liberal Senator.

In my opinion the appeal would be that his name spelled backwards is --Kcarab Amabo
