I really do not see a significant difference. The rhetoric changes near election time. Yet all you have to do is look at what corporations and how much they put to financing the campaigns and it becomes painfully clear who the elected leaders are beholden to, and if that means that cooperation A wants to save a couple hundred dollars on proper equipment and dump toxins right into local lake at the expense and health of all residents in area fine. Elected leader will help cover, change laws, anythimg then help those he was theoretically elected to protect. Their must be a REVOLUTION. To give the government back to it's rightful owners.
