Of course! I couldn't call m'self a lib if I wouldn't. Being gay is NOT even a factor in choosing an elected official. Then again; like I said, I'm a lib. I use more than half the brain I've been given to make my decisions.

If their sexual preference came out before his/her election then no I wouldnt vote for them. Reason - even though they may be honest they would never have the same interest as me and therefore I would not vote for them. This would allow more problems in this world than there already is. I have family members who are gay and I dont hate them nor do I hate african americans, anglos, asians or any other nationality I just dont like what they stand for (gays). I dont agree with their morals and therefore I wouldnt vote for them.

Race, religion, nor sexual inclination shouldn't have any say on why someone votes for someone. I'd vote for anyone if they have what it takes to get the job done, let alone actually want to help the people.

Yes. A person's sexual orientation should not stop anyone from running for office or voting.

I'd have no hesitation at all. I'm not interested in anyone's sexual orientation. I'm interested in whether they have the intelligence and integrity to do the job they're elected/hired to do.

If he was the best person for the job, yes. I would not vote for him simply because he was gay. His sexual orientation is no concern of mine.

What does sexual orientation have to do with the ability to do a job? It would depend for me and with any candidate their qualifications for the job. Race religion or sexual orientation should have no place in deciding. At least that's how I decide on a candidate. happy holidays
