This Muslim activist incited the civil disturbance and threats that caused police to forcibly remove six Muslim Imams from a U.S. Airways flight on 11/20/06. One of these was Omar Shahin, who served as a fundraiser for a Hamas front, and who ran a mosque in Tucson attended by several al-Qaida operatives including a hijacker who flew the plane into the Pentagon. The "disturbance" included loudly cursing the United States before boarding, refusing to take their assigned seats, running while aboard the plane, speaking in Arabic, and fanning out to the front, middle, and rear of the plane, like highjackers. One pretended to be blind, to get another passenger's seat. All asked for seat belt extensions, although they clearly had no legitimate use for them. They were removed forcibly after refusing the Captain's request to deplane for additional security checks, which is the Captain's absolute right to do.

While our troops are defending and in harm's way to curb those who kill to conquer the world it's unthinkable that a portion of this democracy would intentionally vote in the same. Every nation should follow Australia's position, they have a law and order and if you don't like it go elsewhere. We need to adjust our laws in that no other regime can even begin to infiltrate our democracy. This is how some of Eur(asia) has had to adopt the rad-Islamic 'Sharia law' that allows for cutting off of hands, feet as well as beheading. This is exactly how they get a foot in and run with it. We all better keep a close eye on this serious situation and be involved in any undermining of our Constitution b4 its too late. France, Spain, England and others are in the process of being over-taken by rad-Islam.

As I recall, the 'civil disturbance' that the Imans caused was praying at the airport. They were removed from the flight after complaints by passengers. Let the record show that the Imans had let the local police AND the FBI know of their itinerary beforehand so that this very incident would not happen.

Are you trying to argue that - Keith Ellison isn't qualified because one of the Imans went to the same mosque as a hijacker? That actually sounds like pretty weak evidence.

Wherever Keith Ellison is from, he was elected by a majority of citizens in the district he is representing. Perhaps the person he was running against had his own 'baggage'.

Keith Ellison is disgrace to the nation and shows that many among us do not have Americas interests and safety at heart. Why they do not leave for france or iraq is beyond me. Maybe because they are afraid. The muslim 6 should be deported along with Keith Ellison. This may not be politically correct bu it is politically sound
Scary that Ellison is dumber and more dangerous then cynthia mckinney.

Because Minneapolis is very liberal and Ellison presented the perfect politically correct candidate (black and Muslim) for them to prove how unbiased they could be by voting for him. If there had been a minority Muslim woman running against him, she would have won instead.

He's black, and his district is majority black. His religious chocie is not important to them. Besides, Islam among American balcks has little resemblance to orthodox Islam as practiced in the Middel East.

Democrats think that they're way more enlightened than Republicans so it's Ok for them to want impeached judges to head important committees and it's Ok to support buttplugs like Ellison. So who is Keith Ellison? In his official biography, Ellison claims that he hasn't eaten pork or drank alcohol since converting to Islam at the age of 19, and has always found time to pray toward Mecca five times a day. That's nice. Since his religious epiphany he's also picked up at least 40 unpaid parking tickets, 17 moving violations, one failure of a Breathalyzer test at a traffic stop, and two suspensions of his driver's license. He's also somehow found the time to climb up off the prayer mat and into bed with at least one mistress, and there are credible allegations of more. He has openly supported a string of convicted cop killers, known racial separatists and at least one domestic terrorist. This is in addition to the virulently anti-Semitic comments that he made while working for the Nation ofIslam (an organization that believes white people were created in a laboratory by an evil scientist). Sounds like the perfect candidate for Congress. The voters of Minnesota's Fifth District thought so and made him the country's first-ever Muslim elected to national office. The problem with Ellison isn't his moral hypocrisy (although we do wish that he would step out from behind the lies and come clean about his past) and it isn't even that he's a Muslim. Muslim citizens in America are just as entitled to serve in public office as anyone else, provided that they act to uphold the Constitution. No, the problem isn't that Keith Ellison is a Muslim. It is that he is CAIR's (Council on American-Islamic Relations) Muslim. CAIR has even had its own leaders and members accused and convicted of supporting terrorism. It has gone to bat for people like Sami al-Araian and other well-known sponsors of Islamic terror. It also refuses to acknowledge and denounce more than 99% of all deadly Islamic attacks. Yet, this has not stopped Ellison from publicly associating himself with CAIR, even serving as keynote speaker at their annual banquet.. Nor has his dubious moral background and cursory support for gay rights and Israel's existence (issues that helped him win the Democratic primary) kept CAIR from embracing Ellison and facilitating his election with well-worn charges of bigotry against critics. The religion obviously comes first for both of them. And this is just what may have voters in the Fifth District rethinking their choice over the next two years as they watch Ellison openly promote the agenda of an Islamicsupremacist organization in the halls of Congress.
