speech....but never tonight so much....There are four Presidents on the Mighty Mount Rushmore, that have felt the glory for time enough. I think its time, and there is room on that mountain for at least three more on the face proper.....lets unite and tell the government, we want more faces up there with Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt. .. I think with only the strength of Martin Luther King Jr's Freedom speech alone ... he should have his image be carved into that rock wall face.......lets get this thing moving.....refer to me as WTP17A ....Bless Our Minds ....thank you

If farmers want to get up earlier on days with more daylight hours, let them. We have the technology - they can set their alarms to any time they want. There's no need for the rest of us to shift our schedules twice a day.

Our town in small. Only 1000 people. I am willing to write a petition to get DSL in our town. I am told that the mayor only needs to request it. ( I have heard similiar situations.) I will go to every door in my town and rural area to get signatures. I just need to know how to write this petition.

Thanks!

I think that allowing 47 million people to live in a country as rich as the U.S. is unethical. What do you think? Answer as you wish.

I am thinking about names for a political and cultural blog and wonder how thinking and non-thinking people people perceive the meaning and connotations of such a phrase or title.

Would you think differently if it were the title of a Book? A Store? A Movie?

It seems like white (and other) liberals/democrats like to play race card all the time. They accuse people for being racists even when there is nothing to do with that. Does it actually backfires to people that they are trying to "Defend"?...

Like Playing race card in Stanley Tookie case, where there was obvious that he is a hard core criminal, deserving his punishment regardless of race.

Or defending illegal immigration, plaing "Latino" race card, when it has nothing th do with being latino, but with breaking the laws.

Or trying to give ex-felons right to vote, saying "It is a racial issue, since most felons are black and latino".

She would get see this great country first hand, there would be plenty of room for her security on the bus and she might even get to meet some real American citizens that could bring her some much need votes in future elections.

want to support your own economy?

When you buy an American-made Chevy, you not only support more American workers, but also American investors, owners and stockholders. When you buy an American-made Toyota, you may help your Uncle Bob if he’s on Toyota’s payroll, but you’re hurting Uncle Sam since American companies pay about three times as many taxes to the U.S. Treasury compared to foreign-owned companies. That’s something to think about the next time you hear we have to cut benefits or raise the retirement age simply because the U.S. Treasury doesn’t have enough funds to meet its obligations to Social Security or other benefit programs.
It may seem that your car-buying decision would have no effect on your personal prosperity or that of your country, but it does. It really does matter if you buy an American-made Chevrolet instead of an American-made Toyota.
