I admire Dr kalam's steps, but my querry is not against his great question.
I want to know whether he will get so much time to read it all.?

IT IS ONLY A PUBLICITY NO BODY CAN READ ALL THE ANSWERS. KIRAN BEDI IS HAVING ALSO THE SAME THING AND NOW THEY SHOULD CHOOSE THE BEST BECAUSE WITH PASSING OF TIME IT IS LOSING ITS VALUE.

Educate or being educated takes a faith approach. We put out our answers or we go and browse the answers. Some will touch others and some will change our views. We do not have to concern whether the answers make any difference as long as we tried to plant a good seed.
I did not read all the answers about Dr. Kalam's question.

Going by his nature, you need not doubt whether the question his own or he lent his name to it. It is truly keeping in tune with his nature, in posing a question of that nature. Even the language sounds like his, not so polished, if it were drafted by some one else, in his office. I have no doubt that it is Dr. Kalam's. The appellation 'Official' seems to have been added because, the organisers of Yahoo Answers must have solicited for a question from him and from others. It is only to distinguish them from those who voluntarily 'ask' answers.

Dr Kalam after becoming instrumental in fathering Missile Programme capable of carrying nuclear head wants to know how to eliminate terrorisms in the minds of people and therefore his question to his own mind is justified if he compares with the minds of other nuclear armed states.
He is heading a nation, which has witnessed terrorism time and again from muslim fundamentalists. He is heading a parliament which is feeling shy to punish the killer of security men on 12 Dec incident but did not even move when families of survivors returned medals. He is heading a nation which was partitioned during 1947 based on religion after laying foundation of Pakistan on the dead bodies of millions of Hindus and after looting their properties by law enforcing machinery of the then times, who were supposed to protecct them. Of course Hindu nationallists were subsequently betrayed by their own hindu leaders. He is heading a parliament within the close vicinity of which several nitharis are happening every day.
So I feel miserable as I can see this only an Image building exercise by the Gentleman and consider this just a gimmick

The idea was to provoke thinking at a much deeper level . Please do not even think that The President of India , needs yahoo answers or google to solve problems of state. If you have read even a few of the answers that have been posted by some very wise people , its clear that some very core fundamental issues have been nicely pointed out . And I am sure we all need to think and see if we can change something in ourselves and our surroundings so as to get rid of this great threat called terrorism .
Well , for me personally , it was nice to know that there are 28000 like minded sane people who really want to live in peace. I feel happy for the world that we live in :-) ... there is still a lot of hope !

I think Dr Kalam's question was great.If the terrorism goes by asking this question then he should ask more questions related to this.

WHEN the question is put forth by our beloved president of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam i feel that he will read those answer himself and select the best answers.

first when I heard about this contest then I think that the question can be related to science but I find that the question is related to our india's problems. I think that Dr kalam was the great president of India and want to know about his country problems so that he can solve that problem.

I think that DR.ABDUL KALAM had really find a way to eradicate terrorism by this yahoo answers .Many people who are participating in this contest will give there different views how to eradicate terrorism from the world so it can help to solve the problems of goverments.

I respect Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Azad sir's question. I think this is a debatable question. According to me we must find people creating naxalism or terrorism and give them severe punishment. L.T.TE (Liberasion tigers tamil elum) must also be given a severe punishment
