She would get see this great country first hand, there would be plenty of room for her security on the bus and she might even get to meet some real American citizens that could bring her some much need votes in future elections.

Because politics is the way ugly, untalented people get to live the celebrity life, private jets, body guards, fancy dinners and hotels. They don't fund their life with their record sales or movie contracts, they use hardworking American's money. They get to hang out with celebrities (usually democrats, but some republicans too), and the only reason they don't have drunken orgies is because it would keep them from getting reelected. Very sad.

Some times the bast answers are the simplest, right? I agree. However, as with most, they base their actions on assumptions and she's right to assume that every one in SF will vote for her no matter if they like her or not. Good point though...she would realize also that not everyone likes her. On that note, if she did make this effort, some my change their minds. I doubt I would but I'm just not a fan of her's. LOL

The White House defended Pelosi's request. She is 2nd in line to be president should bad things happen (bad depending on your point of view). Hastert got the same treatment, so let it go.

She would disturb the other passengers because she could not keep her bureaucratic mouth shut for such a long trip... Best to fly with people who are paid to listen to her rhetoric !!!! Even then we can only afford to pay people for 6 hours of this type of torture !!!

I agree. I don't understand why all of these hoity toity politicians have to have such preferential treatment. I understand the security issues, but using military aircraft??? Take commercial like everyone else.
