After the fall of colonialism post WW II and Adolf Hitler, many colonies gained freedom and their economies blossomed. Outsourcing is a terrifying word, China is a prime manufacturer and India a Master Service provider. Will this bring down the GDP and wages, purchasing power, living standard etc. in the debt ridden first world where income is shrivelling? Will the developed nations become farmlands and tourist spots and called formerly-developed nations? What do you think?

It's been awhile since I've done jury duty and the last time I did it, I believe I called in several days and sat the entire time just waiting for my number to be called before getting released, not even making it to a trial. What are the odds of me calling in daily and having to go in and sit all 4 days of my time without going to trial - does that happen often? I just want to be prepared with stuff in case I do have to sit all day long waiting.

There are so many people that do not realize the true cost of their heatlh care because they think that their employer picks up the tab that it is something that they earned. What they donot realize is this tab is passed on to the consumer and is included in the price of near everything. We the consumer pay that. Another is the Canadian system is somehow broken. Ask a Canadian. Get the truth. Another is if the government gets involved that the quality of care will go down. We currently rank 14 in quality and number 1 in cost. (WHO) There are many things that are being said about it that are simply not true but are being spread as the truth. Here is my question. If we can dispell the misinformation about U.H.C. do you think you would consider it more closely and maybe become in favor of it?

Recently, my office has received "virus-style" e-mails designed to get people to sign the petition against raod pricing on the Downing Street website. It claims that "750,000 signatures are required for the government to ... take any notice" and contained several apocalyptic predictions about cost and the possibility of getting speeding tickets on the basis of your tracked position.

There was even a Y!A question with the same text:
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Auw9_cti9dmurl92jjbCYNBJBgx.?qid=20070208023146AAx26Pe

As a result, the petition has now been signed over one million times (50 times as many as would like to scrap ID cards, 250 times the number calling for a referendum on the EU)

Now, I'm against installing tracking devices for road pricing (I think there are better, cheaper, simpler ways) - but I'm even more against being manipulated in this way by what I feel is a very clever and insidious marketing campaign.

Am I alone in feeling used?

My Husband's Family has 100 Acres of land that has been in the Family for five generations. The Department of Tansportation has drawn up a proposed Highway that will cut completly across the property. With no fence the land will be completly open. It will absolutely ruin this beautiful area where We had planned to live, in the years to come.

There is a meeting scheduled for the 22nd of February about this. The paperwork basically says they will answer any questions and accept any paperwork anyone wants to submit. It sounds like a done deal.

Has Anyone gone through this before, Or does Anyone have any insight or ideas........PLEASE............

Personally, I don't think we need it at all ~ we should have unlimited freedom in our action and speech in public!

Why do you think? Please don't come up with stupid answers unless you want to live in a life-threatening life... lol ~ just kidding! ;)

What Is A Billion?
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did
a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
A billion days ago no one walked on the earth on two feet.
A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate the US
government is spending it.

Or perhaps the pollution from Earth's "evil" industries is somehow making it to Mars?

Maybe a simpler explanation is that changes in the sun are causing the heat increase on BOTH planets?

If your answer is yes, well, i'd suggest asking the warren commission (lol) why they werent able to recover ANY of the EIGHT rolls royce jet-turbines that should have been recovered from the crash sites -- surely ONE of the engines, seeing as they've never before, or since, had a tendency to vaporize in impacts, should have been recovered. Nope. -- and by the way, the engines weigh more than six tones each, and are titanium, and have NEVER melted in the history of aviation melted...you have a few questions to answer if you buy the lie...start studying now.

Think about it. Seriously. Had they even recovered ONE of the engines, it would be in a museum, surrounded by glass, etc..

Be a ACTUAL partriot and tart asking questions.

thanks.
