You age was not given. If you are 18-20 there are cases where people this young have run. Get your facts together because you will have to win on some major issues. If you are 20-30 you are considered young and inexperienced. Unless you have done some work on the City Council, Planning Commission or the Utilities Board you probably don't stand a chance. My advice is to get appointed to one of those Boards. Contact your City Clerk for openings. I have over 35 years in Civil Service, Municipal and County Governement. Am available to run your campaign. Just contact me here. Anytime.

I've actually run and served in political office. There are a number of things that make a good candidate. And there are a number of aspects to what makes a good campaign.

Most of the campaign necessities are not what the average citizen thinks of. Fortunately, especially at the local level, they are not on the minds of the other candidates. Which makes it incredibly easy to win local elections.

Turnout for both school and municipal elections is so incredibly low for starters. And you only need half of that. I can go into detail if you would like to get in touch and go from there.
