Corruption filters down from the top. From executives to the peon. At one time the USA fought organized crime but after gangsters saw rather than pay off the politicians just have your own people run for public office. Now the USA is organized crime
The only thing you can do is try to be a responsible parent and teach your children honesty and integrity

As others have said this is very difficult. Firstly you yourself can refuse to be corrupt. Find others who agree with you to stand up together against those who are corrupt. On a wider plane openness and transparency helps and systems of checks and balances of powers to prevent anyone becoming too powerful (with the opportunity to be corrupt). But it ain't easy!

You want to bring the country to a standstill?
The entire country is corrupt from the age of five.
Pay or Pray starts it off on the right foot and greed carries it further.
A few years down the line they will be queueing up to leave the Planet headed by our most noble of greedy men.
Stop teaching your kids to be first in line.

It has to start with kids.
They need to be told after all what do you gain by being corrupt. You get some more money and what does money buy for you- only the worldly things which are short lived. Desire for them never ceases.
Hence it is no use collecting more money by dishonest means.
The best is to earn by legitimate means only.

This is a really hard nut to crack. Corruption will never come to an end because humans are imperfect and are always tempted by evil. God is supposed to be the only righteousness, so if only He would yell from the sky each time man is up to his dirty tricks, then no one would dare do any wrong, especially if everyone on earth could hear God yelling someone's name!

Use your power, dont listen to the defeatist "cant do anythings" crowd, their just too lazy, apathetic and weak
Write letters to your MP, your local paper, investigate, question, confront, insist on answers. You have enormous personal power which the Government want to quell through propagating a sense of helplessness, dont join those who have already given in. Prepare yourself for a lot of static from friends and family, just because they cant be bothered and are scared ****less that you will succeed and turn out a hero whilst they where at bingo.
Good luck.

I belong to a wonderful organization called Character Counts. If there is one in your community join it and get involved. If not look into starting one. Beyond that, be as forth rite and honest in your life and demand the same from others.

power corrupts, not having power corrupts. it human nature unfortunately, generally speaking that is. more checks and balances and bigger penalties might help. or maybe enforce the laws we already have
