Every nation which is developed or has developed has one thing in common. The common citizen of that country takes pride to say he is from that country. He wears its flag. Wants its country to grow in might both industrial and military.
In India people wear American flag. People are so corrupt that roads with 100 year gurantee gets torn appart in 5 months. Even out side Taj Mahal where so many foreigners come has brocken roads central channel, no water and beggars roaming all around.
The people have no self pride eg.
police men are found taking bribes from truck drivers oppenly, every govt dept is corrupt top to bottom,
people keep their streets dirty,
Piss every where,
Throw garbage every where,
A sense that our country should be best is missing,
etc etc.

Seriously,... Alot of you, including myself,... will either be elderly or 6ft under, when things start to get desperate. The Planet is dying, the signs are in the news every day.

Do you think the future you're working for, saving for yourself and your children will be better? What measures should you be preparing for? When many of the things we take for granted, become scarce and hard to come by.

A lot of the youngsters these days want to party, maybe they're serious about living it up. Because some are aware of the situation & the ramifications of our potential future.

Sure there are some extremist survivalists around, but what about you? How will you prepare for when things get really rough? What can you do?

Its not whether I'm right, but what can you do for yourself - the signs are there to deny or accept.

You do have a choice.

When people see something other people are doing, that they believe to be very, very ethically or morally wrong, does it inflame there passions, there sense of injustice, and lead to them to speak and act in overly-emotional ways in the attempt to fix it, and lead to the people there trying to address to either tune them out or retaliate in equally overly-emotional ways, instead of calmly, effectively trying to convince them to try to figure out for themselves if they really are doing something wrong, and fixing it effectively if they are?
Does this apply to any side in any debate, especially about highly emotional issues such as ethics, morals, rights, liberties, politics, and religon?
This idea came to me when I was considering the things I've said, and how they have been misunderstood because I was over-emotional do to feeling so strongly about them, I know I've inadvertenly been too offensive, leading some people to not understand the meaning of what I've been trying to say.

when we have historical examples of Racism in highly educated and industrialized cultures, such as Japan and Germany During WW2.

Each culture had its share of philosophers and PHd's. You'd be hard pressed to say the Germans weren't "smart" enough to "know better."

So if there is ample proof that Racist beliefs have NO DIRECT OR INVERSE CORRELATION with intelligence and education, why do people call all Racial ideology "Ignorant" or "stupid."

Why are these camps not on American soil and what will it take for the Jewish community to speak out against this abuse of civil and human rights. If another country decided to put Jews in a similar camp would this now be no longer seen to be anything wrong. Why is it that arabs being treated as the Nazis treated the jews now right

LIMBAUGH: [Former President Bill] Clinton was offered [Osama] bin Laden two or three times, turned him down. Turned down Sudan. Sudan offered it. So Clinton wasn't serious about it [terrorism].

As Media Matters for America has noted, the false claim originated in an August 11, 2002, article on the right-wing news website NewsMax.com that blared the headline "Clinton Admits: I Nixed Bin Laden Extradition Offer," distorting a speech Clinton made in 2002. While he did acknowledge in a July 8 interview with CNN chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour that he mistakenly implied that the United States was offered bin Laden in that 2002 speech, at no point did Clinton say that Sudan offered bin Laden to the United States in the speech.

The bipartisan 9-11 Commission found (pdf) "no reliable evidence to support" the claim that Sudan offered bin Laden to the United States and determined (pdf) that, based on Clinton's testimony, in "wrongly recounting a number of press stories he had read," Clinton had "misspoken" in his 2002 speech. Clinton further refuted the allegation in a June 20 interview on CBS's 60 Minutes when he said: "There was a story which is factually inaccurate that the Sudanese offered bin Laden to us. ... As far as I know, there is not a shred of evidence of that."

Councillor No 2 broke the secrecy rules of an association and bleated to his colleages and the Executive when asked to resign. Councillor No 3 has reportedly the worst ward in which to bring up children? yet he is repeatedly voted in albeit by a small vote count of around 180 votes. The Executive is to pay out large financial Golden Handshakes to retiring Councillors, many of whom are employed in day jobs or have large pensions or are company directors, Why Why Why. Money is best spent on the people and not in Golden Handshahkes, any retiring Councillor has been paid their expenses and work they diid on any council was their unpaid civic duty.

Jesus said: "You will recognize them by their fruits." The treatment of other religions by Islam must be judged by a simple test: How did the Muslim rulers behave for more than a thousand years, when they had the power to "spread the faith by the sword"?

Well, they just did not.

For many centuries, the Muslims ruled Greece. Did the Greeks become Muslims? Did anyone even try to Islamize them? On the contrary, Christian Greeks held the highest positions in the Ottoman administration. The Bulgarians, Serbs, Romanians, Hungarians and other European nations lived at one time or another under Ottoman rule and clung to their Christian faith. Nobody compelled them to become Muslims and all of them remained devoutly Christian.

True, the Albanians did convert to Islam, and so did the Bosniaks. But nobody argues that they did this under duress. They adopted Islam in order to become favorites of the government and enjoy the fruits.

In 1099, the Crusaders conquered Jerusalem and massacred its Muslim and Jewish inhabitants indiscriminately, in the name of the gentle Jesus. At that time, 400 years into the occupation of Palestine by the Muslims, Christians were still the majority in the country. Throughout this long period, no effort was made to impose Islam on them. Only after the expulsion of the Crusaders from the country, did the majority of the inhabitants start to adopt the Arabic language and the Muslim faith - and they were the forefathers of most of today's Palestinians.

There is no evidence whatsoever of any attempt to impose Islam on the Jews. As is well known, under Muslim rule the Jews of Spain enjoyed a bloom the like of which the Jews did not enjoy anywhere else until almost our time. Poets like Yehuda Halevy wrote in Arabic, as did the great Maimonides. In Muslim Spain, Jews were ministers, poets, scientists. In Muslim Toledo, Christian, Jewish and Muslim scholars worked together and translated the ancient Greek philosophical and scientific texts. That was, indeed, the Golden Age. How would this have been possible, had the Prophet decreed the "spreading of the faith by the sword"?

What happened afterwards is even more telling. When the Catholics re-conquered Spain from the Muslims, they instituted a reign of religious terror. The Jews and the Muslims were presented with a cruel choice: to become Christians, to be massacred or to leave. And where did the hundreds of thousand of Jews, who refused to abandon their faith, escape? Almost all of them were received with open arms in the Muslim countries. The Sephardi ("Spanish") Jews settled all over the Muslim world, from Morocco in the west to Iraq in the east, from Bulgaria (then part of the Ottoman Empire) in the north to Sudan in the south. Nowhere were they persecuted. They knew nothing like the tortures of the Inquisition, the flames of the auto-da-fe, the pogroms, the terrible mass-expulsions that took place in almost all Christian countries, up to the Holocaust.

Why? Because Islam expressly prohibited any persecution of the "peoples of the book". In Islamic society, a special place was reserved for Jews and Christians. They did not enjoy completely equal rights, but almost. They had to pay a special poll-tax, but were exempted from military service - a trade-off that was quite welcome to many Jews. It has been said that Muslim rulers frowned upon any attempt to convert Jews to Islam even by gentle persuasion - because it entailed the loss of taxes.

Every honest Jew who knows the history of his people cannot but feel a deep sense of gratitude to Islam, which has protected the Jews for fifty generations, while the Christian world persecuted the Jews and tried many times "by the sword" to get them to abandon their faith.

The story about "spreading the faith by the sword" is an evil legend, one of the myths that grew up in Europe during the great wars against the Muslims - the reconquista of Spain by the Christians, the Crusades and the repulsion of the Turks, who almost conquered Vienna. I suspect that the German Pope, too, honestly believes in these fables. That means that the leader of the Catholic world, who is a Christian theologian in his own right, did not make the effort to study the history of other religions.

Why did he utter these words in public? And why now?

There is no escape from viewing them against the background of the new Crusade of Bush and his evangelist supporters, with his slogans of "Islamofascism" and the "Global War on Terrorism" - when "terrorism" has become a synonym for Muslims. For Bush's handlers, this is a cynical attempt to justify the domination of the world's oil resources. Not for the first time in history, a religious robe is spread to cover the nakedness of economic interests; not for the first time, a robbers' expedition becomes a Crusade.

The speech of the Pope blends into this effort. Who can foretell the dire consequences?

Why do I hear libs always talking about such things? I mean, what keeps them from working two jobs and donating the money from one of them? Why are they so intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them? Worried about the homeless? Why dont the libs move them into their homes or at least put them in tents on their lawns or something? Why dont libs ever want to live in the ghetto, since they always tell us that criminals arent bad, just victims or misunderstood. Want to feed people? Why dont libs cook for them, take them food, etc., instead of being on here? I mean, I hear a lot of folks always talking about compassion, care, etc., but it seems that a lot of these people want to use my money, time, efforts and so forth instead of doing it themselves. Support and nourish your own cause. I mean, Christ didnt hire a caterer to make the extra loaves and distribute them. He made them himself.
