The bill of rights is the most important part of the Constitution. Because it outlines our basic human rights.

The Bill of Rights is still very important. Its the section of the Constitution that guarantees rights to the individual citizen and is suppose to limit the power of the federal government. Just look at all the things the First Amendment protects. And remember that many of the founding fathers, Jefferson, Madison, etc. would not support the Constitution without the Bill of Rights.

Without the Bill of Rights, there would be no guarantee of individual freedoms in this country.

The only amendment that is not actively thought of today is #3, quartering of troops doesn't appear to be a problem.

Any time you try to delineate an all inclusive list you will leave something out...

The Bill of Rights is important because without it we would have a lot more rights...

Because the Bill of Rights spells out our rights, the government does not assume that we have others...

It should have been left out and a different one specifying the rights of the government put in place instead.

The Bill of Rights IS important. It establioshes our basic rights as citezens of a democratic society. Just because some would throw it out the window and say it isn't important doesn't mean it isn't.
