Seeing how the heros of 9/11 were lied about the air quality and many have become sick or died. How can we trust the same people to tell us when there is radiation leaking from a nuke plant? I'm ready to buy a Geiger Counter (radiation measuring device) cause I don't trust them... Yet I'm afraid the FBI will kick down my door for buying such a device suspecting I might be a terrorist... I'm damned if I do damn if I don't... Am I taking it too far? Do you agree or disagree with my point of veiw? Why?

You're absolutely correct. I always believed that our government would guard the physical welfare of its citizens. Look at all the governmental agencies that were set up to do these things--EPA, FEMA, HHS etc. Things seemed to have changed with this administration's policies of "starving the beast". They have eviscerated agencies that were designed to protect American citizens. How can these "leaders" live with their selves in giving mis-information to the people of the City of New York about the air quality in Lower Manhattan post 9/11. Hundreds of thousands of American citizens work in that area & may have been exposed unnecessarily.

I do not rely on anyone to take care of me. I especially do not rely on the government. I consider my body to be my responsibility and no one elses... to rely on anyone else is just foolhardy

You really can't trust our government when it comes to preventing public panic. They lie for a reason. I say, if it is good for the goose then it is good for the gander. Eye for an eye. You know, do unto others as they do to you.

Government cannot be trusted for anything. It is completely self-serving. It it can garner any advantage by killing you, then you will be dead.

Government doesn't care about the masses. That is why they allow mercury in vaccines for infants and in flu vaccines, etc. etc.
