Thailand coup is justified because the overthrown Prime Minister (Thaksin) was corrupt.

If agreeable means right, then I am not so sure. But it is agreeable to a lot of Thais. I am afraid it sets Thai Democracy back a few steps.
How are they going to tell Thai people to go to the poll next year when the general election is promised? Because the vote doesn't count equally. Poor people were apparently not only not rich and uneducated but also stupid allowing themselves to be bought by a few promises from the Ex-PM's party. It is extremely difficult to be democratic when the election means nothing.
There is a big dilemma now about investingating Taksin. It should be done because the main reason he is bad for the country is his corruption and nepotism. If he is to be found innocent, the premise is false and the basis for this coup will be pretty shaky. So will there be a fair hearing because there will be an immense pressure to find something against him. If he is found guilty, a crucial question will be why he was not investigated earlier before this coup which could solve most of the problems.
In addition, some may feel that Taksin should now be left alone to preserve peace and sort of put things under the rug and let people move on. The investigation may bring more frictions in a time that is sensitive and dangerous for possible more negative reaction.
I am sure the Coup is not agreeable to Taksin's supporters. They are doing the right thing by waiting to see whether there will be a good and semi-neutral new PM as well as next October election as promised. Their protest or action that shows disagreement to the current coup's group will only lead to more conflicts and possible bloodshed.

There have been corruption in Thailand always. Maybe Taksin also make some corruption, but at least he give some of the money back again. The others did not. They keep all for them self.
I still believe Taksin was the best - even he don't like foreigners work and live in his country.
