even if those view differ from yours? or would you rather live in a country where everyone falls in line and follows and believes what the government says, and if they do have doubts keep it to themselves...for the sake of putting up a a solid united front? Given a choice between those two situations only (no other), which do you think serves the nation better in the long run and is healthier for freedom?

Please answer the question. Do not change my question or try to tell me what I am asking and then proceed to attack what you yourself are saying that you think I am saying. Also, since we live in the USA, and are americans, of course we feel the USA is the best country..it is natural to feel that way. So please don't answer saying you would choose the USA. The question is a choice between absolute denial of dissent because that's the best way to guarantee freedom, or absolutely ability to dissent against government for it is the best way to guarantee freedom.

I know this sounds prepostorous, but think about it. Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Churchill were all exremely unpopular in their countries and were initially failures during their leadership. Half the US hated Lincoln and he was assasinated. Yet today, he is considered one of the best leaders America ever had by almost everyone, including people in the South. Roosevelt was severely disliked for his socialist-like policies, and delayed the US entering WWII at first. Churchill was unpopular in the UK even for most of WWII, yet 60+ years down the road, most Britons forgot about this and Winston Churchill is officially the 2nd greatest Briton of all time and considered by the majority of the British to be their best leader of all time. Bush is obviously unpopular, yet recently, the top anti-war man in Washington admitted the troop surge in Iraq is working and that the war has gotten better. The Taliban has almost been completely run out of Afghanistan.

I just discovered that my mother's house is in foreclosure. Apparently a Notice of Default was filed back in August.

I did not find out about it until last week when I learned that a Notice of Trustee's sale had been filed. The trustee's sale is scheduled for December 13.

How do I stop the trustee sale so that I can help my mother put her house up for sale and recover the little equity that she has left in her house.

Neither my mother or I have the cash or can get the cash to pay the arrearages on the mortgage in time to stop the trustee's sale.

Also I want to take legal action aganst the mortgage brokers involved. They stripped the equity out of my mother's house.

The mortgage brokers had been refinancing my mother's house every year each time charging her huge prepayment penalties and huge fees. My mother received very little money.

The mortgage payments are over two times the amount of her income from social security and a small pension.

I was born and raised in England. My parents are both Spanish. Someone told me I was "essentially an immigrant".

Do you believe that me and other people like me, who were born and raised here but have foreign parents aren't 'proper' British?

Clinton balanced the budget by raiding the SS trust fund.
Now look at the trouble we have there for generations to come.

That's like you paying your credit cards every month by taking out cash advances on other credit cards.
