harryd, maybe you would like to actually read the question and reconsider what it actually means.

well bugeyes returns, they sure aren't conservatives as they claim. I'm more willing to use a different term if you would like to suggest one.

Firstly in order to counter a neocon is to not use emotive language which they view as weak and a sign of a left wing person. Instead really know your statistics and sources, including the neocons own sources and then bury them in a nice friendly manner in their own horse$hit.
It really helps to know how and why the neocons came in to being. If you can get hold of it watch the excellent BBC documentary "The Power of Nightmares" as it's the most accurate and detailed look at the neocon creed that's been produced for TV.

Truth is, whether you're naughty or nice, the best way to counter any ones argument is with valid and verifiable facts to the contrary - not ob-blog websites, fictional "documentaries" and deceptive half-truths.

First of all, I'd suggest you stop using the hackneyed "neocon" moniker. It means nothing, therefore your question means nothing and is not a real question.
But, to placate the YA Nazis, I'll answer by stating sure.

There are no neo-cons here. Nor under the bed. Nope. None outside the window either.

No, the best way to counter a neo-con argument is with actual knowledge of the subject. Name calling isn't arguing, it's a defense mechanism.
