It will be like they've crossed a point of no return...

Democrats all over the country are still spitting nails because they've been bashed, lied about, insulted and disregarded for 8 years.

The Republican candidate will have to hold the base while proving themselves to be "different from Bush" which is an impossible feat to say the least.

There are so many foul plays from this administration, that they can only convince a small percentage of the population that it's the "democrats fault".

People have also really educated themselves about Politics in recent years - which never fares well for a Republican candidate.

So which Republican candidate will need a big hug?

I am asking this question to get your opinions on the following topic. I am a first hand authority source, posting from my own personal Yahoo! account as an individual and not doing this as a business or commercial project.

1. Asking all Americans: Would you like it and would you be very happy and pleased, if your nation, in the next election, elected an honest and upright President. Someone who truly cared for the people (all of the people and not just those who make campaign contributions)? Someone who was qualified (as Bill Clinton was) and could do well in both US domestic and foreign policy? Someone who would be a good guy and right wrongs in this nation, punish the bad guys and bring a new era, an upright era, of prosperity and peace to this nation? This man would be a human being with human flaws and failings, but he would, also, be a compassionate man who knows the score and could then therefore set things aright in such a way that pleased the American people.

(contd)

ruling goverments always promise to spend millions of dollars to win the comming up elections.but never spend any of it when in power when it is actually needed. now WHY is it so??? if they would spend money needed WHEN needed, they would not have to worry about winning or loosing next elections !!!! SO what does it all mean??to me,,,, politicions don't give a damn as long as they have that Job ,money and Super comming there way.We have problems in HOSPITALS we are short on TEACHERS , etc.,,where is the money they could have spend long time ago...and not just on election day ?? make no mistake people out there..next goverment won't be any differance to the once in the last 40 years or so.they are all the same...they are POLITICIONS. I still want to know why they don't use money before when needed ?

So Jimmy Carter is in the news for trying to get peace in Nepal and hopefully restore democracy there....while Fred Thompson campaigns for president by going to another gun show and calling it "a day in paradise."
