"only educated people vote republican" What?!?! Then why are most college professionals so liberal. The asker sounds way more intelligent than the person who said that..

My good 3 are: Paul, Huntsman and Romney. I agree that they the two communicate the certainty and stay consistence so they gained't be nominated. they do no longer look to be a piece of the GOP Borg-could desire to be a hundred% conservative and picture the US is often suitable. My backside 3 are: Bachmman and the two Rickys. Perry, being the low guy on the totem pole self sufficient Texan

Gee Donkey, you sure are smug about it. I just hope you don't go pissing and moaning about a rigged election again when a Republican wins. America is sick and tired of your sour grapes. America elected President Bush twice. You Democrats are going down next year.
You should be grateful for the loss too. If you win, you will have to face Al Qaeda, and you Democrats are no match for them. They would be kicking your butts, meaning kicking our butts. We don't want to be your collateral damage. America is sticking with the Republicans in the oval office. Just watch and see.

I personally believe that I'm looking at yet another liberal, democrat question that assumes way too much. I'm certainly not saying that the race wont be close, but I truly believe that this country is a true conservative country and irregardless of the mistakes that Bush has made, the incursion into the middle-east was/is necessary for the safety of this country: yours and mine. Only time will tell which side is correct.

No. I do not feel sorry for them the least bit.
The GOP has itself to blame for the utter failues that occured on their watch, not to mention all of the unchecked pork-barrel spending, when they controlled both Houses of Congress.
Now, Republicans' best hopes for defeating the potential Dem nominee lie with a socially-liberal neocon whose views are a stark contrast from the traditional conservative base, alienating a huge chunk of their "faithful" voting bloc. How sad, indeed.

If you're running for president, you know what you're getting into. I won't feel sorry for any of them, be it Ron Paul (my favorite) or Rudy (least favorite).

Don't stereotype. A person's choice to be republican does not automatically make them uneducated or foolish, but a person's choice to rule out a specific candidate because he/she is a republican is uneducated and foolish.

No I don't feel sorry for them at all. Most educated people vote Republican. Sorry! If you really educated yourself you would see the Democrats have a lot of stupid plans. I feel sorry for the next president (a democrat) who will be hated even more by the American people.
