Seriously, all of the vets I have met have been some of the most bitter, cranky, bigoted minded individuals I have ever come in contact with. I dont think they deserve a holiday. They're not anymore important than anyone else in America.

Hi everyone. I don't like living here in Georgia anymore.. so I wanna run away to Canada. I heard its a nice country n all that with lotsa hot guys and stuff.... Will the canadian army catch me if i try to go through their border? my plan is to go to the great lakes and swim from Detroit to Canada.. would they shoot me down? Or what id I get in someones car and hijack it.. would the Canadian army figure out? Do they do ID chekc? I dont have a passport and dont ever plan on getting one.. will canada accept me? I'm half white like them...

The debt collector knows my financial situation and knows I can make monthly payments, just not the amount that they're asking (though they don't refuse what I can pay). And he also told me to call him once a week.

He told me to get a 2nd job so that I will be able to pay what they're asking. But with the apartment I live in, my rent raises with my income. So it could nearly double my rent and I'd essentially be able to pay very little more than I already can now. But I told him I'd look into getting a 2nd job but I can't guarantee anything. The fact is, I don't want to kill myself to be able to pay them an insignificant amount more than I already can.

I don't want to call this person on a weekly basis because I know that the calls will likely be recorded and consist of entrapping questions in which my answers will most likely be used against me later. Knowing this has me worried about calling this guy at all. Is calling him something I'm legally bound to do? What do I do?

I think the greens look way better and they distinguish a person from the different branches of the military now it looks as if the army soldiers look like navy sailors and the blue ones are just ugly with the yellow lines on the trousers

So, I like most people have a job and pay taxes. In order for me to have a job I have to pass drug tests when asked. Would it be wrong to require welfare recepients to pass a drug test to get their check?

My Step sister went to boot camp but somehow she fall down and hurt her ankle..so before, she finished boot camp she was discharged...
Now, she is telling my dad that she had to pay for all the medical costs for her knee surgery because the army will not pay it..

Is this true??? i thought the military pays for the medical..but im thinking she was dishonorable discharge..if thats possible..because she use to do drugs..but i dont know..please help if anyone might know of the answer or someone i can talk to about it thanks

Ok This person is NOT a friend just someone i now She gets food stamps BUT sh lied about her info she said it is just her and her baby which her boyfriend lives with her Which that isnt what makes me mad her parents pay most of there bills all they have to pay is electric they both got brand new cars they spend all there money on junk like hydraulics and she buys labtops and stuff like that so i mean they have money and still get help Me and my boyfrind have a son and we were struglen for awhile but they said he makes to much to qualify for any help BUt what really makes me mad is that they brag about getting 350 a month for food stamp she said she is going to see about getting more!! I wouldnt care if she would say it was her her boyfriend and baby but she lied because she nows he makes to much if she would put him on there Is there anything i can do cuz this isnt right people who really could use help cant get it cuz they dont lie about it but people who get it are just greedy!!

I was watching Criminal Minds last night and the episode was about some crazy guy that kidnapped 3 girls, held them in his basement and then made them choose 1 of the 3 to kill. He then dropped hammers down for the 2 to kill the 1. Obviously, I know, this is TV. My question is, has anything like this ever happened? Or like the Saw movies, where there is some psycho that kidnaps and holds people and does weird stuff or makes them kill each other? Anything along those lines ever happen in real life? Just curious because we always this kind of killer on TV, just wondering if it has ever really happened. Thanks, links are great.
