I am 11 weeks pregnant with my boyfriend who is in the Army (GA national guard). We were planning to be together after he returns from Iraq but now we may end our relationship because of his other relationship I just found out.. It will be hard to live myself with a baby. I need his help. But he told me that after he comes back from Iraq (June or July 2008), he may be gone away for while to take all war stress out and may not contact to anyone for a while.
I just don't know what to do now. How and where can I apply those child support or any kind of support for baby if he is in the military? I am not US citizen , living in US with permanent resident card.
Thanks.

I`m an atheist so for me the answer is self explanatory. However, a person would have to be a hell a of allot more than an atheist to get my vote.

Would you vote for an atheist, and what do you think are the chances of an atheist winning a presidential campaign? Do you think its no different than a Christian?

I never signed the contract cause I had my own membership with anther gym. Since I never signed the contract does this give my wife the right to renegotiate on changing the membership back to single?

I am suing (through the department of labor) my ex employer. When i was pregnant(8 months pregnant) the temp agency i was assigned to cut all ties with the hotel i used to work for.The hotel management decided then to put all of the employees from the temp agency into theit own payroll, giving them permanent status. Not only was i the only one fired(not signed onto their payroll) they didn't even tell me ,so i worked a whole week with no pay, since i no longer had an employer. My first court hearing is next monday, and i know i should have a ballpark estimate of how much monetary compensation i should ask for, or how much i should expect. Can anyone give me any advice?

They will move to another country. Do very many conservatives feel this way? And if the majority of them do wouldn't it be a wonderful country if Hillary or Obama wins? I suggest they move to Iraq since they can't quit harping about how wonderful a place it is now.

My boyfriend has been working for $7 per hour. My boyfriend works about 58- 60 hours per week and gets no overtime. He also doesn't get two 15 minute breaks and only gets 30 min lunch. Idk if I'm just losing it but something sounds really wrong here. We live in Colorado, isn't there laws that say he has to get overtime, 15 min breaks per 4 hours, and atleast 45 min lunch? Who would l contact to dispute this. We've talked to BBB they don't handle employment practices. PLEASE HELP

A lady liberal wrote a lot of letters to the White House
complaining about the treatment of a captive insurgent (terrorist)
being held in Guantanamo Bay.

She received back the following reply:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20016

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment
of the Taliban and Al Qaeda detainees currently being held at Guantanamo
Bay, Cuba.

Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinion
was heard loud and clear here in Washington. You'll be pleased to learn
that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, the Department of Defense
is creating a new division of the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the
"Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers" program, or "LARK" for
short.

In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have
decided to place one terrorist under your personal care. Your personal detainee
has been selected and scheduled for transportation under heavily armed
guard to your residence next Monday. Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud
(you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the
standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint.

It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant
caretakers. We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of
care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in
your letter.
Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that
your sensitivity to what you described as his "attitudinal problem" will
help him overcome these character flaws. Perhaps you are correct in
describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand
that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling.

Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand
combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or
nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these
skills at your next yoga group. He is also expert at making a wide variety of
explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to
keep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend
him.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except
sexually), since he views females as a subhuman form of property. This
is a particularly sensitive subject for him and he has been known to show
violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress
code that he will recommend as more appropriate attire. I'm sure you will come
to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka -- over time. Just remember
that it is all part of "respecting his culture and his religious beliefs" --
wasn't that how you put it?

Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like
you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job. You take good
care of Ahmed - and remember...we'll be watching.

Good luck!

Cordially, your friend,

Don Rumsfeld.

I went to public schools. I remember when I was in 0 grade in elemtary school in Poland, they taught us mandatory religion. In 0 grade I I think I remember, religion sessions divided between girls and boys. Sometimes, it happened when one of us was beaving bed, the penalty was to go to corner and stand with trousers pulled down, and you had even to pull down underwear. I am not kidding. This case never revealed itself up. And this priest after 3 years was moved to another diecese. In my country this applies to every priest that every few years must go to another place, unless he owns church in local place. How would you react if you knew that something like that happens in your town. I believe in the U.S that would be not tolerated and he would be sent to jail. Right?

Landlord trying to sue me?
I rented a condo for 2 years and moved out 1 month ago after my lease was up. Upon move in we did a walk thru report and I noted everything on paper, including stains that were already on the carpet. When I moved up we did a final walk-thru and all was well except the kitchen was left dirty. I agreed to have a cleaning fee deducted from my deposit. Now the landlord is trying to sue me for damaged carpet. He claims the carpet smells like cat. I never had any animals the whole time I was renting. Also, he had within 30 days to return my deposit, and since it has been past the 30 day mark he is now wanting to sue. Does he have a right to sue me? He also told me the carpet was brand new (which wasn't) because there were already previous stains there, and I also found out there were previous tenants there on this "Brand New Carpet" can I countersue him? Do I have a good case?

I had an attorney ask me to claim that I am the "next of kin" to get some money for him. This is just a portion of the email I recieved.
"I cannot move the money in my name because he is my client, for it could look suspicious, his account officer cannot do the same, hence the importance of your assistance. Have my assurance that there is nothing to fear about, as we also need your assurance that you would work with me without fear or favour to achieve our desired objective. The legal back up is no problem for I would be responsible. Since the codicil was not ready before his death, letter of administration without Will would be secured from the probate office, with this letter I would personally apply on your behalf to the bank for the release of funds to you.

I need to know what I should do? I'm am definetly not doing it but should I report it? If so to whom??
