In CA can you go on unemployment after your temp disability runs out?

The timing just really sucks. It relates to a workers comp case..

It's a workers comp case but I haven't gotten the settlement yet.

Is it a temp. disability case or a worker's comp case? Are you still disabled or can you work? Depends what your doc says.
If it's disability, the next thing is to apply for federal soc. sec. benefits. If it's worker's comp, check with your case worker on what you do next.
