Hey everyone. My friend is running for Student Council President. Anyone have any cute slogans?

Her name is Cecelia White. She goes by Cece too, so anything with that works.

Her slogan as of now is 'Cece White, that's right!'

THANKS so much!

I have been to a number of International Airports. But never found ant comparable to Logan International in Boston. Entering into the customs area I was always greeted with. "Welcome to the United States of America and the city of Boston." Then everyone was told of all the people wearing blue blazers to help everyone at entry control and customs. What a great place. I always had wished every US airport greeted everyone that way. My worst experience was Oakland International in California returning from Viet Nam in 1967. What a disappointment. But away from the airport, a cab driver made up for it. He was Lebonese. We talked and he reached out and turned off the meter. Then he stopped and bought a 6 pack of Michelob. Had a couple beers together. He was the first person from an Arabic country I had ever met. Though he was Christian. At the airport I had to deal with the protestors and though I was a criminal. And it was a foreign immigrant that welcomed me home.

I do respect the guy and all but I'm sorry he isn't the best. It has to be Franklin Del Roosevelt. He ended World War 2. He was the only president to serve for 3 terms of office. And I think he was under the most pressure under any president. So FDR is the best president ever in my opinion.

It is the site of ancient Philistia. It is currently blockaded on all sides by a hostile power backed by a powerful nation. Wouldn't it have better protection and guaranteed rights under international law as a declared independent state named Palestine? What would the pros and cons be under international law?

It seems that George Bush had a personal problem with Saddam Hussein and that is why we are in the mess that we are in. He can try to explain it away otherwise, but I don't think that we are that naive, or are we?

I saw her on the news tonight and I was impressed on how she has been able to cover up the devil horns on her head. Is it a new hairdo? Do they not appear on TV (kind of like vampires having no reflection?) For a second, I thought one popped out, but it was just the light reflecting off her giant smile.

I know that she is an evil demon queen, but I am having a hard time getting a picture of the horns. Help.

I'm creating a poster. It's a project. I'm going to have a black man shake a white mans hand. What should the text be? The text needs to be related or go along with MLK's dream. You know, how he wanted black and white people to get a long. Thanks! I need some ideas!

I'm working on a take home midterm, and having a case of brain block - I need some inspiration....

What problems were the writers of the constitution trying to solve? what were they afraid of going wrong? How did they solve it - and what compromises do you think were the most problematic.......

Its the last two parts that are giving me the hardest time, by far....

I'm not looking for anyone to write this thing for me.....just some ideas to think about.

Thanks a bunch all

Hi I am a second year college student at UCSB and I live with three other people. Two of which are now growing marijuana plants in the house not too mention smoking it constantly all day. We are in a legally binding contract for about another 9 months and they did not start smoking until march and contracts here are signed in january. Otherwise I would have seen this problem coming. I am tired of the house constantly smelling and afraid of getting in trouble if I do not report it. I have also gotten a lot sicker since I moved in here about 3 1/2 months ago. I looked up prison terms of up to 5 years if you are caught growing and selling. What I would like to know is, a) should I contact management and b)if they get caught by the police and I live there, could I get in trouble ?

P.S. Their housing contracts would be terminated since smoking in the house in the first place is a hundreds of dollar fine by our company to begin with.

And I don't want no dumbass remarks from stoners

I like photography and guitar - Recently I have taken a picture of myself holding a can of Coca-Cola. I have also used my guitar to compose a song, titled "Cola", sang with it, and posted it on YouTube. The image of the screen is the picture mentioned above.

My question is: "Is there a chance that Coca-Cola will sue me for trademark infringement?"

P.S. The picture and video are solely for personal hobby. I am not selling neither the picture nor the video or making any profit out of them. Also the song did not say anything bad about Coca-Cola.

I wrote in my book entitled Understanding Water Rights and Conflicts, Second Edition:
“Even in wet regions, where water is seemingly not an issue, disputes arise. Georgia, Alabama and Florida are disputing the flows in the Apalachicola River. One issue relates to the amount of water needed to remain in the river to preserve the Apalachicola Bay oyster beds. Growth in Georgia and Alabama has caused more and more water to be removed from the river (diverted) for municipal and agricultural use, leaving less for the ecosystem downstream. This impacts both the ecology of the bay and the livelihood of the fishing industry using the bay.”
Considering the current crisis in this region, do you feel that water issues are more in the public eye than they have been in the last few years. If so, does the public understand the complexity of these issues more or less as a result of the news coverage?
