Does anyone know any good sites for a potential Army chaplain to visit. Or does anyone have any info about chaplaincy in the Army? I'm thinking of becoming one in case the draft is reinstated and need to know more about it. Thanks

ok I would consider defending your country from invaders or fighting for independance as just but also necessary war.

What kind of wars do you think would be just?

A friend of my mom's loaned me or gave me money to help me out of a situation about 1 year ago. Since then my mom broke up with him and now he is demanding his money back. However, there was nothing put in writing, no terms or time to pay it back and he has no record of how much he even gave me because it was all given in cash. Could he successfully sue me for what he thinks I owe him?

Well, heres some more background. He has an anger problem. He went as far as threatening to kill me and actually told my mom that over the phone. She filed a police report for a threat on my life. He has also threatened to tell her best friends husband that her best friend had an affair that her husband doesnt know about. He also went to my ex-wife and said all kinds of slanderous things about me, my mom, my sister, and my dad. He is constantly harrasing everyone for money that at one time he gave freely and now has flipped . Would that change anyones answer??

Here's the question and the results;

"In general, do you agree or disagree with the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that established a woman's right to an abortion?"

Agree 62%

Disagree 32%

Unsure 6%

Quinnipiac University Poll. Aug. 7-13, 2007.

you can't support a dead troop. My brother is now gone. We miss him with al of our hearts. But please stop more from dying in Iraq.

The republicans want the best for he troops. But that is not in death. The only true way to support the troops is to bring them home and keep them alive.

The war is over. Bush lost this war when he decided to permantl occupy Iraq with our troops.

No WMD's. Got Sadam, got a IRaqi govornment up and running. Why is Bush staying there? Why is Bush continuing to ground our soldeirs to thier death?

Bush lost and now our troops keep dying. Their is nothing more to gain in Iraq. This is now simply costing lives of American soldeirs.

Please bring them home so no more have to die in vain.

My girlfriend was in a very long relationship with her ex-boyfriend and it ended about a year and a half ago.
I know the guy and he was always a pretty nice person.
Truthfully she realy screwed him over and all though I love her I don't agree with whats she's done to him.
Well she's pretty much screwed him over in every way and walked all over him. She has everything of his, robbed his bank accounts and there isn't anything he can do about it.
He realy trusted her and no understatement she ****** him over enough where he has on multiple occasions attempted suicide because he can't deal with it.
Well the problem is that he's finaly grown a backbone(yes he is army) and my girlfriend posted pics of her and I kissing (realy kissing) on myspace and nude pics on adult friend finder. He's going to turn it over to the media and her unit he said to bury all his bitterness. Well I know my girlfriend did wrong and I don't agree with what she did but how can I help her and stop this.

I posted an ad online that I wanted to meet a guy. Got tons of replies. So I finally chose one that I will go to, but I'm a little bit scared. I mean I don't want to get in trouble with the cops or anything like that. The guy I'm going to meet online is an adult as well (25 y/o). He agreed to meet with me and possibly hookup (you know what i mean). In a way, it's kind of soliciting intercourse online... but both parties are consenting adults. what are the implications of this in law?

Live in California. I gave 2 weeks notice and because i am going to a competitor, the company did the exit interview the next day. Am I legally entitled to get paid for the remaining 2 weeks?
If so, is this stated somewhere like a .gov or CA state website somewhere?

It's a flat tax system with a salary cap. It was never intended to pad the wealth of the rich and it expected priority to go to the poor & middle class first.

A few changes to the system should insure it's solvency.

1) Remove the flat tax & salary caps. If you earn over 100K you should pay based on a graduated tax scale. All of your earnings would be subjected to social security tax.

2) You are only eligible for SS benefits if after deductions your taxable income is < $200K. If you die before drawing from your SS pot it will be added to your beneficiary's pot or donating to the institution of your choice.

3) Similar to 401K vesting % you will be able to invest a portion of your SS pot each year in low risk investments suitable for 401Ks. You will be able to invest all of your SS pot within 10 yrs of the standard penalty-free retirement age.

It's grossly unfair to push out the retirement date for the people who need the benefits. Abandon that idea altogether.

I have did some research and it seems as if Kohen, Trotsky, Nickles, and 2 other rich Zionist pooled their money and hired mercanarys from America, England Germany, Canada and Australia and went into Russia and knocked out one Czar and recruited his army into theirs and kept doing this until they conquered Russia then they killed the Czars and installed the communist party, and since its inception the Zionist have been in control of Russia, if this is so then why did our new's media always say that the Jew's were being discriminated against in /russia??
