I am speaking of the murder of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1995, for which O.J. Simpson was aquitted for murder. Aquit means to free or clear from a charge or accusation. How can one (anyone) then be charged with civil grounds? I guess I am looking for some legal knowledge/ clarification. Thanks

I have situation that I acted very naive about and I am now in a lot of trouble. I thought someone was my friend and I helped them put an engagment ring on my jewelery credit card they agreed at the time they would pay on the ring. Well they only paid like two times on the ring and now the ring is double the amount then when we purchased it because of late payment fees and the interest. They will not pay on it or return the ring back to me. Can I press theft charges on these people since they will not give the ring back? Because it is still in my name on my credit card and the bill is still coming to me so wouldn't it be my property and they have it in their possesion? Is there anything I can do?!?

Our friends on the left love to tell us how the Founding Fathers of America were Non-Christians who were the very foundation of modern liberalism. They were these open minded, free thinking men who embodied all of traits that were intended for all to embrace.

until....we speak of slavery of that era.........

suddenly...and without warning...these founding fathers...these signers of the declaration....these liberal hero's from the left are put through an evolution that would make Charles Darwin Cringe!!!!

NOW...they are right-wing, Republican, Christians who enslaved the black man!!!!!!!

Even the liberal hero Thomas Jefferson (owner of over 100 slaves) is quickly discarded...NO Father of theirs.....they say!

I was unjustly issued a parking citation at my college parking lot, and after being denied my appeal, in a moment of anger I wrote "mandatory fascism tax" on the "for" field of the check I mailed for the citation. Can this get me into some kind of trouble?

Being as how they both have the same views on Bush, America, our military, Israel and other allies, the war in Iraq, Christianity, etc???

They both agree that either 9/11 was an inside job, or that America's foreign policy is what caused 9/11. They both feel the terrorists at Guantanamo Bay who were captured fighting our troops on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan have been treated badly and should be released. They both think the US military are invaders and the "real terrorists" and that foreign insurgents trying to kill them and disturb the peace over there are "freedom fighters" trying to honorably defend their nation. They both feel the CIA shouldn't be monitoring the conversations of terrorist sympathizers and those who give financial support to them. Both are for the immediate withdrawal of all US troops in the Middle East and the subsequent havoc that would follow. I could list more, but not enough room. What do you think????

The electoricial college seems to do it's own voting even against the majority vote. Isn't it time to stop this curruption? Also would more people be willing to vote if they knew their vote counted?

I think he would have made a good president. He led the South very bravely, and I admire him even though I didn't agree with his side of the war. President Lincoln asked him to be the head of the Union Army, but when Virginia left the Union ang joined the Confederates, he turned down the offer and said he could not betray his home state. I think he would have had the demeanor and the loyalty ro his country that a good president should have.

I think the only ruls should be that an establishment has to CHOOSE if they are a smoke friendly place or not. They would have to have a sing on the entrance saying so. and their ads would say No Smoking if they didn't allow it.

I think this way owners get to run their buisnesses the way they want.

If you don't like smoking then you can go somewhere else. NOBODY has the RIGHT to a smoke free bar or restarant. You are not forced to go there and they are not forced to feed you.

Now I agree that smoking sections are the dumbest thing in the world because that's pointless. The smoke's going to go all over the room.

But I think they should be allowed to choose if they allow smoking or not.

It should be the owners choice.
