I can join as an officer, but my friends tell me if you have a graduate degree, you should find a job instead. Also, I have dual citizenship and can join the Canadian army also.

Is it a good idea if you've already paid for your college degree yourself? Thanks

I went to paint and side my house today because yahoo weather told me it was not going to rain today or for the next 2 days at all not even a chance of rain as did the national weather service. So i went to paint and took my gutters off however when I was finished about an hour later it began to rain hard while I was at the store. Now I have $150 of paint and primer washed off my house a $500 table saw fried also a wet basement. The basement is wet because I live in a 300 year old home and the foundation is made of stone so if the rain water is not brought far away from the house it goes right though the stone and inside. Is there anything I can do to get them to pay for this or do they call this an act of nature?

A few years back (when I was young and stupid), I loaned a co-worker $200. She said she would pay be back with her next pay check. Yeah, right. I wrote her the check, she cashed it, and I never saw her again. I still have the check she cashed as proof, but I cant find her.

She has since moved away from her parents, and no one really knows where she lives now. She sometimes uses her mother's maiden name, which makes her even harder to find. I've tried searching the internet for her, but I havent really had any luck.

And idea how I can hunt her down?

To receive Social Security an American citizen must work at least 40 quarters or ten full years. Our government has provided illegal aliens working illegally in the United States a better deal. They need to work only six quarters to receive Social Security. Yes, an American citizen works ten years and an illegal alien only needs a year and a half.

I don't think it is. Too many laws for us to be free. The only laws that should be here are laws in which another person is affected by someones actions. For example rape, murder, theft, assault, child abuse, etc... The laws that should not be here include personal use of drugs in ones private home. Prostitution if it is regulated correctly ie checking for stds wearring appropriate contraception, open gambling anywhere etc. Bascially it boils down to the fact that people should be allowed to do what they want as long as they do not affect other people in a negative way. If someone wants to come home after work and smoke a little weed what is the big deal? If someone want to go visit a prostitute who cares? Its there own personal choices. Each person was put on this earth and they should be able to live anyway they want as long as they do not affect people in a bad way.

When America finally get an unbiased, honest media that will report on all the crimes this gutless thug has committed, how many years in the federal pen will Hillary Rotten Clinton get?

I'd say at least life plus 99 years.

I receive a monthly child support check and in June mine didn't come;so immediately I called and reported it.I went through an unbelievable wait, paperwork, more waiting, and was called today to come down and sign a paper saying that the person who cashed and signed my check was not me.It was my neighbor! This person has been hard to deal with and not only did they cash it they signed their own name! This person runs a gas station and didn't stamp the back of the check on purpose to keep the bank from tracing it.However, they now have her address, name, and work. The lady at child support said she may try to say she thought it was her own check if she receives child support.Someone please tell me she won't get by with that...you don't get two checks in one month and I have yet to receive mine. While she knew she had my money...me and my kids did without! Please tell me more about what the court might do or who I could call! I have took so much from her and been silent! This was too far! Thanks!

I was having a issue with my job and instructed not to return to work until the owner speak with me. i did go to an initial meeting and then told to write a proposal of how i will change my self and how much i want my job and what i am willing to do to keep it. then based on my proposal it will be decided if i was to keep my job. the next meeting i did not show up to because i refuse to degrade myself for another's power trip. how can you be a no call no show on your personal time , when you were instructed not to come back to work? so today i find out i was listed as a no call no show. i was told i can not get my check until i sign a letter stating that i resigned and was a no call no show. i cant do this because of risk of losing my unemployment benefits. has any one ever experienced this before? and what do i do?

If the draft was re-instated, what are the current laws concerning how the Selective Service System would pick names?

What is the age group of people who can be drafted? I understand that during the Vietnam War, males younger than 18 or 26 and older had no chance of being drafted. Is this still true today?

This amendment would have made it illegal for anyone with "terms of nobility" as in "esquire" (a favorite of lawyers!) to be an elected official of the federal government.

Strangely, this amendment, though ratified by a sufficient number of then existing states, managed to disappear from the books during the civil war and be replaced by the current version of the 13th amendment, banning slavery.

Can you imagine the clarity of government we might have had today had lawyers been banned from the legislation? It would truly have been a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people."
