I was unjustly issued a parking citation at my college parking lot, and after being denied my appeal, in a moment of anger I wrote "mandatory fascism tax" on the "for" field of the check I mailed for the citation. Can this get me into some kind of trouble?

No. If the check clears, you're clear.

IF someone even sees this notation.. it will have no bearing.. it is not threatening..again that is if your check was even handled by a person and not a direct ACH deposit..

I wish you well!

That was stupid. Yes it could but most likely not. Your comment is not that bad. They will most likely ignore your statement or may "lose" your parking ticket payment.
So in a few days go down to the college parking clerk and see if it was recorded as paid. You may get screwed because you may piss them off with your comment. So check and make sure it is recorded as paid or you may have to pay it again if it isnt. If it isnt paid it can come back at you later.

You would have been better off writing a note to accompany the check. You could fit a lot more words on it. In addition a clerk who processes the check wants to get it into the bank as fast as possible so your check is not going to be there for very long airing your opinion.

A sharply worded letter is a better approach.

Well most likely not. You did not threaten anyone.

I am courious though what did you get it for?

What a stupid thing to do!

Don't they teach you anything in college?

No, as it is not threatening, just your opinion.
