Since Al gore changed the light bulbs in one of his mansions it has cut his electric bill from 1350 a month to just 1300 and when John Kerry wrote his new book on the environment and global warming he and Al got together and are now changing the light bulbs in all of their mansions and have promised to cut their jet flights down by a 1/3 by stopping all visits to friends by jet. These two men need to be commended for their sacrifices and leadership dont they?

Would this imply that you will limit the other individual of the race you deplore's pursuit of happiness, etc? I know that the social reprecussions will be bad (i.e. this Imus thing now) for such an individual unless they are in the KKK or something... But do you have a right to be racist? Is there any way to change the status of the law now, i.e. make it legal if it isn't or illegal if it is now? What strategy would you suggest? Any miscellaneous thoughts on the matter?

PS - I'm striving to be objective; I'm not racist and I hope you are not either. It's just a mental exercise, satisfying a curiosity and asking for input. Thanks.

The gender disparity has to be one of the greatest on Earth

A man serves god goes to heaven and get a bunch of Hos (as Imus would say)

A woman goes to heaven and has to give it up (get raped) to the seucide bombers that killed women and children.

Talk about WHAK I'm surprised the women of Islam haven't rebeled.

Obama Ditches CBC/Fox Debate

Barack Obama has chosen not to attend September's Democratic presidential primary debate co-sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and Fox News, an aide said, effectively dooming the event.

Obama is the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus running for President, and his decision allows other candidates to skip the debate without facing criticism that they are turning their backs on a leading black institution.

Friday, John Edwards was the first candidate to announce he'd skip the debate. The CBC Institute is hosting one other debate, with CNN in January, in which all candidates are expected to participate.

"CNN seemed like a more appropriate venue," the aide said, adding that Obama himself had not called CBC leadership or Fox executives to deliver the news. "It was handled at a staff level."

The aide said that Obama will participate in the six officially-sanctioned Democratic National Committee debates, whose existence provided candidates a measure of cover to drop out of the Fox-sponsored debate.

Many people seem content to blame the US for the quagmire in Iraq. I wonder why more blame hasn't been given to the Iraqi people. If the Iraqi people are angered about the US "occupation" of Iraq, wouldn't it make sense for them to take a more proactive role in taking control of thier country. It seems to me that the sooner the Iraqi's can demonstrate that they can effectively deal with the sectarian violence, the quicker the US will be able to relinquish control of Iraq to the Iraqi's.
As long as US forces are in Iraq, what motivation do the Iraqi's have to take control over thier government. Do you really think the Iraqi people care how many American soldiers get killed? In short they have to live there we don't. Please think before you respond.

I am not a liberal or repbulican. However, it would seem that Nancy Pelosi went to Syria and was glad-handing the Syrians. The Syrians are funding, training, and giving safe haven to those who wish to engage in the "Sunni Insurgency" within Iraq. Mainly these people who are attacking US Forces in Al-Anbar Provience Iraq are Ba'athists(a political party formed in the image of the German Nazi party), and Sunni Muslims like the Syrians so the Syrians help them any way they can with money, training, and weapons.

The 14th Amendment states
3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

I'm just wondering how we know when the war is over and it's okay to send large numbers of our troops home. Do we envision some kind of surrender on the part of terrorists? Do we think that, by shooting them and bombing them, we're making friends and they'll run out and wave a white flag? What is the sign that the fight is over?
