I think he died a couple of years ago. That doesn't mean there aren't others with plans.

George Bush has a plan.

Bin Laden made a statement on 9/12 that the US has tried to blame him for various events for years, but he had been living a quiet life in the United Arab Emirates. In fact, he was treated a week earlier at an American hospital in Brunei, where he was visited by "agents in suits".

Months later, the US "found" a tape that showed "him" confessing, although the person in the film looked nothing like bin Laden, had the wrong skin color, WAS WRITING WITH HIS RIGHT HAND (while bin Laden is left-handed), and was wearing a gold ring, which is forbidden by Islam.

And if I'm not mistaken, it's been over a HALF-A-DECADE since the last domestic attack.

How convinient for the government. They have created an "imaginary monster" which allows them to do anything they please under the pretext of the Patriot Act and Homeland Security. In fact, I could be imprisoned merely for having these views or making these statements. How patriotic.

Half of the people here responded with "Yes. He wants to take our freedoms and liberties".

what a bunch of ignorants :)

Osama bin Laden was a CIA trained terrorist to fight against the Russians when they invaded Afghanistan during the Cold War.

It is no secret. Osama bin Laden worked for CIA. Please, don't take my word for it and look it up.

He had no, absolutely no advantage of attacking the US. He couldn't care less about our "freedoms and liberties" why would he give a damn ? The CIA formed him, remember ?

However, other people won:

Cheney = multi billion dollar contracts to his Haliburton (no bid contracts)
Larry Silverstein = 7.2 billion on his 15 million original investment

All bush administration for getting a go for "project of the new century" that talks about taking over the oil fields in the middle east.

Stop being brainwashed and do YOUR own research.

If you still believe Osama planned everything from his caves in Afghanistan... then you're doomed.

Absolutely... And he's following it completely.

He's already told everyone his plan.

1) Bomb the US
2) Attack allies of the US for helping them
3) US overreacts against Muslims militarily
4) World will hate the US more... and it will create more home-grown terrorists willing to die to attack US interests
5) Cycle begins again

This is exactly what Osama bin Laden said he wanted to occur (before 911), and so far it's been successful.

People point out there hasn't been an attack here in a while, but that's because a) they've been busy attacking our allies at as high as a rate as before 911... and b) they don't need to attack us in the US when they can attack us in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So yeah, he knows what he's doing.

And Bush just keeps falling into his trap over and over again with his stupidity.

(Oh, and sociald, I hate to break it to ya, but if your jihadist scholar told you that Osama is looking for Ahmadinejad to create a Caliphate, you should get your money back... Wahabbist Sunnis hate Iranian Shiites with a passion. They don't consider them to even be Muslims, so I doubt highly that's what bin Laden is looking for). Also, Shiites have been against the Caliphate since the beginning of Islam (they follow Imams, not Caliphs). You need to look into it more.

Yeah, he's got a plan. He's got his eye on that goat that hangs around the cave at about 4:30 every evening. A little wine, a little MRE's left over from the Americans and viola, the magic happens.

According to Dr Walid Phares, expert on jihadism and the middle east he believes Osama is on the Pakistani side of the Afghan/Pakistani border , is probably in poor health.
He says he believes Osama is is waiting to see if someone like Ahmadinejad can rally the middle east into the caliphate.

No one has heard from him, nor seen him, for years except in probably faked videos.

I don't think he is still alive. He wasn't responsible for the Iraq mess.

Let him rest in peace and take responsibility
for our own actions.

Absolutely. I don't think he ever stops thinking about how to destroy us.

Personally, I think his plan involves doing whatever he can to make sure that large numbers of our troops stay actively involved in Iraq for as long as possible.
