For a sane government, yes! However, Bush and his cronies refuse to deal directly with Tehran in diplomatic talks so, it probably would not have made much of a difference.
A government that has so little understanding of foreign policy doesn't have anything but negative impact on the world stage.

If Bush didn't squander our will and resources in Iraq, THE U.S. would be easier to deal with. He's going to have too many problems at home to be able to deal with Iraq.

What is everyone talking about? What the hell has Iran done that's so wrong? Tried to develop their technology? Tried to arm themselves to protect their borders? Captured British soldiers trespassing off THEIR coast?

If a Soviet ship was patrolling in the Gulf of Mexico during the Cold War, the US would have apprehended and executed everyone on board. Iran gave them all gift-baskets and a big going-away ceremony.

Iran has as much right as the US and the UK to develop their technologies and protect their borders.

No, because the Defeatocrat mentality is to not do anything about threats until Americans are killed. Any threat to America will always be difficult to deal with as long as there are liberals out there who care more about the rights of terrorists than Americans. Do you realize that Iran is NOT going to stop enriching uranium until they get the bomb?

No because America has fought wars on different fronts before. If we have to confront Iran as i feel we must if they have a bomb. Then we can America is strong enough. But we only spend 4 cents out of every dollar on the military.Sothe resources are there.Maybe we should stop spending on all the handouts and wellfare out there. And spend more on defense.

ABSOLUTELY.

Hard to deal with someone when all you have is a megaphone and cap gun left...

Maybe we still couldn't have attacked them militarily then, but at least there was the threat. Now, Bush's threats are a joke to Iran.

How is this for an answer? NO.

Iran knows we've got a cowboy in the White House, and if anything that worries them because they don't know what he is capable of. Remember how the Iranians returned our captives the very moment Ronald Reagan was sworn in?

Use facts to prove your point......If supporting our troops in need is squandering.......then i guess you have a point...but since it is not...u dont have a leg to stand on.......If the people of America would actually use their brain and not openly BASH (i dont mean disagree...disagreeing with someone is different) George Bush in public, then Iran would be much less active in Global Politics.

Iran has no respect for USA anymore because the see they can control us simply by causing doubt in an administration thanks to mainstream media.

Dare you to use facts and prove me wrong.
