I know for a fact that more countries are involved, on a smaller scale, which means you will not notice any of it in the USA. They do send their troops to Afghanistan and to Iraq.
When you check out local broadcasts you'll notice enforcing anti terror policies may still be an issue.
The USA and Britain have suffered the heaviest attacks, which have made world news. The scene has been different in the rest of Europe: "a little murder here, a foiled conspiracy there, some arrests elsewhere, tightened security measures, etc."
The fanatic Iraqi's will not sit and watch how their territories are being occupied, so they shed their share of blood. Thus giving the west more reason to continue their War on Terror.

There are more but the major ones are the UK and the US but do you not think Australia, Japan and Italy are Western countries for some reason or just a convenient way to blame UK and US for this war not the terrorists. Also all of NATO is fighting in Afghanistan.

"War on terror" is just a lame excuse by which they are trying to justify this blood shed !! but the world is not blind any more...there is no war on terror being fought in Iraq......Osama is a terrorist US wanted the most and he could not be reached after soo many years..then what terrorism they are fighting agaisnt and why this sheding of blood of innocent!! never made sense to me ! If they could not catch a single person as yet they should simply quit this war !! ........No? but actualy they needed this excuse for some more years !!

Go back to school and learn the facts. We are allied by many different countries, but the MSM (aka television) only talks about America in the worst light possible, and the British only when something goes wrong. Try READING, and you will find that the facts are much clearer with research.

They're not - there are a bunch of countries with soldiers in Aghganistan and Iraq, and others are making efforts in other places.
In America, the news organizations only focus on America - and the worst news they can find. Check out newspapers in other countries and find out what's really going on in the world.

Actually,France,Germany and many other NATO member states have troops in Afghanistan, their intelligence services are considered to be important links in the intelligence war against Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations and many of them have frozen assets of organizations linke to terror groups.

They don't want to be bothered with it. Why should they have to get their hands dirty when the US and UK are there to do the dirty work? There is no entertainment value in defending democracy, so Europeans won't be interested in it. It's not polite or PC. If the US and UK were to completely withdraw from the world scene, the howls of indignation would be deafening. They'd rather criticize the way we do it than do it themselves.

Well lets look at the cast.
France enough said they don't believe in fighting.
The rest of EU think appeasement will work as well as it did with Chamberlin.
I suggest you look up http://www.thereligionofpeace.com
and get a small taste of who else is shedding blood.

they're not, plus you don't think that other countries have stepped up their internal security? There are other countries in Iraq also, (i'm not justifying the war or giving an opinion on it) albeit a small number of troops.
