I have a disease called genetic pancreatitis and I'm currently an ssi. I am a 27 year old male that is dying. I have been told by many different doctors that I will have cancer in about 10 years. This was 2 years ago. I have no way of making any money, and can't even get out of my parents house to live on my own. Can't pay the bills. I can't do anything. I have all the medical papers anyone needs to prove this to them. I don't know where else to turn to. My life is a living hell. Pain and sickness everyday. I'm on 100 mcq/hr every 48 hrs of fentanyl. There is no cure for this disease. Please if someone could please help me, you would be God sent. Thank you for looking at my question, and thanks in advance for your answers. Andrew

Republicans and Democrats alike sternly warned the FBI on Tuesday that it risks losing its broad power to collect telephone, e-mail and financial records to hunt terrorists because of rampant abuses of the authority. The ACLU warned about this 3 years ago.

The threats were the latest blow to the embattled Justice Department and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who is already on the defensive and fighting to keep his job over the firings of federal prosecutors.

The warnings came as the department's chief watchdog, inspector general Glenn A. Fine, told the House Judiciary Committee that the FBI engaged in widespread and serious misuse of its authority to issue national security letters, which resulted in illegally collecting data from Americans and foreigners. The ACLU stated "We told you so". Bush and supporters should feel ashamed.

Do I have legal rights to see my niiece? My brother and his ex are having major issues. But I want to know is there any way that we aunts and uncles still see the baby even if the ex doesn't want us to? She has major issues now with her new man. And we have tried several times to help her but for some reason she doesn't want us around. We didn't do any thing to her. We have actually tried to help her. Now she is talking trash that we have abandoned the baby and don't do any thing for her. So why should she let us see her. I haven't heard this myself but this is what I am hearing around family members. Her and my brother aren't thinking of the baby . They are doing things to hurt one another. And the baby is just the weapon that she will use against him. And towards us. The family. What are my rights as an aunt so we can still be a part of the childs life?????

We had over 10 thousand dollars in jewelry and coin collection birthday gifts and around 30 credit cards and other such items. We contacted the police dept. and the officer who tookthe report around 9-12 times over a years period. We never received a single return call by any one... last month i called the police last month to get the case number i had lost it. over around two years now and the desk person gives me the number then i ask her if there was any news on that case number......We then find out that the grand larceny was never assigned to a dective and never investigated she then gave me a captians name and number to call to find out why....i called left our names and case # twice no return calls from him..........we'll i'm looking at a 1000 dollar county tax i have to file and pay and paid the same last year....my question is do i still have to pay this money they're not doing their job so would i have a ground to stand on who would i contact about challenging this tax???

anyway, this attorney told me that he charge 10.000 for this case,2500. dn. and it pass 3 mo. and i call him and i told him,you forgot what you suppost to do?he did not went to see the one in jail like he promist,instead he was out of town on thanksgiving,he said when he get back he'll see him.went to see him for 3min,he said they miss place his paperwork,6mo.pass,i said what happend hav'ent heard from you,i said,your not doing nothing,just forget it,he said ''okay''so are you going to return me some of the money?he said none!and hang up.now what can i do,please help me.
