The B-1, B-2, B-52, F-18 Hornet, Cruise missles, nuclear bombs, and special forces were all invented to avoid another D-Day. So, the answer to your question is the US would just bomb the beach reatedly.

It is highly unlikely that there will ever be another amphibious operation of that magnitude. Warfare has changed a lot in the past 63 years.

We have the means to scour any beach devoid of any and all life before our soldiers set foot there so there will never be another D-Day.
