I'm in the Army and have been for five years. I re-enlisted once already and have been deployed once also. I was supposed to get out in June but since my unit is getting deployed again, I was stoplossed. It just really makes me mad. When I joined the Army, there was no such thing as stoploss. I was soooo excited about getting out and now my life is on hold for another year. I want you guys to know that, I have no problem defending our country and would never try to get out of the deployment. It just irks me that they can do that. Whats your opinion?

Here's my story:
I bought an amplifier to put in my car for $650 off or ebay (retail: $1800) and the wiring kit for it ($110). I'm in high school, and i have an auto tech class. Now, i don't know much about installing audio equipment in my car. But my classmates all said they could install it everything for me. I asked my teacher and classmates if they are 100% sure that they can install it for me, otherwise i would take it to get it professionally installed. Everybody said they guaranteed they will get it to work, and the teacher said he sees no reasons why we wouldn't be able to get it to work. So, everybody went to work. After a while, they discovered that they couldn't get it sucessfully installed, so they left it "half-way" installed. I then decided to take it to a professional car audio shop. One of the workers simply looked at the install my classmates did and said "they obviously didn't know what the !*@# they were doing." So, i set an appointment to get it professionally...

help secure its freedom and democracy from Iran's aim to develop nuclear technology.

if they are so living in a democracy, why do they ban freedom of religion? Why do they go against christians?

"Israeli police on Wednesday banned a news conference by Muslim and Christian opponents to Israeli excavation work near a disputed holy site."

Did anyone hear about that thing going on in a district of China where all dogs are being killed by the police because they are afraid they have rabies or something like that. If the Chineese are so smart why don't they FIGURE out a way to pay for vaccines for all the dogs whose owners can't pay for it. Don't they have any regard for animals? And did you hear about that guy who was on yahoo chat, was thrown in prison, because he lives in China and was talking againest the governent?

Dems OK hearing on border agents
Congress probing possible influence by Mexico on Ramos-Compean caseDemocrats have approved a congressional hearing to explore Mexico's possible influence on the prosecution of Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

The request by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif. – ranking member of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight – was approved by the panel's chairman, Rep. William Delahunt, D-Mass.

As WND reported, documents indicate the Mexican Consulate played a role in the events leading to U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton's high-profile prosecution of Ramos and Compean, who are serving 11 and 12 year sentences for their role in the shooting of a drug smuggler. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54686

Barack Obama is gaining drastically on Hillary and in a recent poll I saw he beat Mccain and was just a few points behind Guiliani. What are the reasons behind this? What is he doing?

Some details that may affect your answer:
-This is my second ticket within a year
-It occurred in Illinois, and I am a resident of Illinois
- It was on a five lane highway where the posted speed limit is 55, but realistically, everyone goes 70 or more.
- I was in a pack of cars that were all going about 80, and I simply got picked out.
- I felt the police officer was quite rude and curt with me.
- I am a fairly new driver who grew up overseas, and therefore was exposed to a different culture that takes a different attitude towards speeding. (this is a long shot, but maybe this angle could generate some sympathy)

I know that if the officer doesn't show up, he is violating my 6th amendment right to face my accuser, and the case will most likely be dropped.

I also heard that I can invoke my 7th amendment right to a trial by jury because the case involves more than 20 bucks. If I do this, it''ll supposedly be too expensive for the court to continue to prosecute me, and they'll drop it.

Ron Paul is an awesome presidential candidate, but he adhere's to the policy that 9/11 was NOT an inside job. That makes me question his loyalty to the country and makes me wonder if he is not yet another elitist plant sent to trick us. Everyone with half a brain can see those towers were demolished and that the Pentagon was hit by a missle. Not to mention that Flight 93 was NOT at Shanksville. BUT, Ron Paul is speaking the right stuff and I can only hope he is letting 9/11 slide right now as an effort to save this government as it is still the best on the planet, even though they attacked us on 9/11.

I think I am going to vote for him. I would go with the Constitutionalist Party, but the majority of Americans are RETARDED, so I'm going to make my vote count as best I can IF Ron Paul makes it past the Republican primary.

But, I have a fundamental problem with anyone who repeats the "9/11 was NOT an inside job" thing, regardless of their motives.

I see a very strong "correlation" between the movie "300" and the Marine Corps. I served with the Devil Dogs as a Navy Medic in Iraq. Those guys are awesome to see in action! Let me tell you! If you positively, absolutely need something annihilated, call the United States Marine Corps! They'll do it! OoooRAH! Semper Fi. :) Comments?

I am wondering if books that have been out of print for over 100 years still have a copyright (in the USA). Also wondering if they can be republished without "rights" to the book. If not, please provide details on the actual U.S. copyright law pertaining to this.
