To be clear, they said there's NO evidence of man's involvement . In fact, they cited SCIENCE as proof . They also said it was nothing more than a political agenda .

Are They Lying to Us, or do you respect what a qualified scientist has to say about Global Warming ? On the other hand, other scientists say that 'man' is responsible. . . . . . . so why are people so sure that one scientist is telling the truth and others are only lying ?

On my show last year (The THINKfuture Radio Show Podcast), I predicted this. Do you think I'm right? Sometimes it feels like theres some kind of collusion going on between the parties - since Bush seems to be running the Republicans into the ground. Do you think this is all been planned ahead of time - that its now "Hillary's Turn" and by the same token, the "Democrats Turn"

In this 'strategy', Pelosi proposes that we basically take our army as if it were in a dog fight, the US army being our dog, and basically shoot it in the leg so that it gets it's @$$ kicked before we throw in the towel. She proposes we cut funding by huge amounts (this being while we still have our troops in Iraq) and then spend the funds on other stuff, during war-time nonetheless.

In response, just simply tell me one adjective to describe this so-called strategy. I'm putting my vote in for "Irresponsible"

And why the CONS are in such an uproar about bringing the troops home? I would think if things have gotten so much better in Iraq as FAUX NEWS and the cons claim you would be all for the troop withdrawal.

Yes, he is partially to blame with the situation in Iraq (partiallly, because many other people are involved in the political decision making process), but he also is a scapegoat for things that he has no involvement or control over.

"What! My electric bill went up 3.50 from last week? It must be that damn Bush, and his insatiable lust for oil, using up all the energy this country has to fund his crusade in Iraq....curses, Mr.Bush, currsessss..."

so weeks ago i posted a question which summed up said if some one across the country gets and abortion, it shouldnt matter, i got an answer saying "if u had a friend in cali who called and said they got a gun to there kids head wouldnt you do something about it?" in short NO, why becausethe question stated that why should i care if i dont know them, the point of life is to live happy and christians say god gave us free will, in lay, holds weird ideas, but since god isnt our primary law it shant be illeagal we have the right to have sex and have medical ways of getting rid of the consequences of accidents, if you get pregnant and dont want the kid..... get rid of it, after the first response they mentioned drunk driver, which when i saw the first few words, i ignored the rest because the question was a call that, people need to stop fighting issues like that and free speech and other rights, do you "moral" people realize that you are hated because you think you can tell us what to do?

If Scotland votes for independence, what will the remainder of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland become? "Great Britain" means the whole of the island including England Scotland and Wales as at present, so we will no longer be able to use the term Great Britain. It will be easy once Ireland is united (gets rid of the Northern Ireland problem) and Wales goes independent because then the only remaining bit will be England and could have that simple name. The problem will be worst when just Scotland has gone independent. We will have to call it "The United Kingdom of England Wales and Northern Ireland". Of-course, once we vote for an elected President instead of the monarchy, we can call it "The Republic of England Wales and Northern Ireland" but that's not a whole lot better.

Any ideas anyone? What will the country be called once Scotland leaves?

we should seriously send all the convicted violent criminals to Iraq. why have them waste our hard earned money when we could get rid of them and have them contribute to this country , killing 2 birds with a stone. I really don't see one thing wrong with this. if anyone has any objections I would love to hear it. I find it really unfair that we , hard working citizens, have to pay for these moronic killers that are just a waste of air, while good people are being killed in this war. Also anyone else in favor of making death sentences more stricter??

This represents an intermediate step in the processing of uranium ores. Yellowcake concentrates are prepared by various extraction and refining methods, depending on the types of ores. Typically yellowcakes are obtained through the milling and chemical processing of uranium ore forming a coarse powder which is insoluble in water and contains about 80% uranium oxide, and which melts at approximately 2878°C.

Yellowcake is used in the preparation of fuel for nuclear reactors, where it is processed into purified UO2 for use in fuel rods for PHWR and other systems using unenriched uranium. It may also be enriched, by being converted to uranium hexafluoride gas (UF6), by isotope separation though gaseous diffusion or in a gas centrifuge to produce enriched uranium suitable for use in weapons and reactors.

Yellowcake is produced by all countries in which uranium is mined.

I feel that I have been profiled, and here's the story:

I was walking into the county fair today, much like any normal person. As I approached the entrance and handed the handler my ticket, the security told me to tuck in my chain (I have a wallet chain). I obliged, and then was suddenly told to put my hankerchief that sits in my back pocket away, also. By this point, I was rather perturbed. Having done so, I proceeded and was again stopped, this time by an officer standing next to the gate. He then told me to put my chain away again. I pointed out that it was in my pocket, and he told me to unhook it from my belt and put it completely away. Exasperated, I proceeded to do so. Whilst doing this, the officer proceeded to, and in a demeaning tone, tell me that I could take it to my car or just leave; he was trying to be easy on me. I just sighed and put it away and carried on. As I was in the park, there were many other kids with chains and clothing much less conservative than mine.
