To be clear, they said there's NO evidence of man's involvement . In fact, they cited SCIENCE as proof . They also said it was nothing more than a political agenda .

Are They Lying to Us, or do you respect what a qualified scientist has to say about Global Warming ? On the other hand, other scientists say that 'man' is responsible. . . . . . . so why are people so sure that one scientist is telling the truth and others are only lying ?

Global Warming is a theory. It is a scam. It is used by the leftists to scare us into their way of life. They emotionalize the whole thing and teach children that we are destroying the Earth.

We have a few hundred years of actual temperature data. Since the Earth has been around for hundreds of millions of years, the sample is so small that the margin of error is so great that it trumps any change

Secondly, we have had to have had global warming or we would never have made it out of the ice ages that we have had. Temperatures rise and fall naturally.

The sea levels have risen long before man had technology. When the tsunami hit a few years ago, an underwater city was found. It was very old. How did it get there? The water levels rose.

This is more than enough scientific proof that global warming does not exist.

No, they aren't lying. Global Warming alarmists are made up of three kinds of people: scientists who want funding for a project and know they can get it by scaring people, people who have not looked into the subject but freak out because a "scientist" said something, and those who try to use the scare to manipulate the populace into doing things that support their agenda.

There might also be the fourth: college kids who think they are smarter than everyone else because they are the first group of people in the history of the world to go to college and thus need to educate the rest of us and change the world.

The last group, thankfully, will notice in six years that everyone else also attended fee paying schools, learned a bunch of nonsense they now think is useless, and that their professors were not geniuses, they were people of average intelligence who committed a lot of time to attending fee paying schools, and had the emotional intelligence and maturity of high school kids.

The honest thing for scientists to say is that at this point in scientific history they do not understand the earth's weather systems or the reasons for its changes throughout time well enought to speak intelligently on the subject. That would unfortunately allert the public to the fact that they do not know as much as they claim to know.

The agenda trumps all including evidence to the contrary. Many people have come to see the global warming debate as a liberal vs. conservative issue. When politics is introduced there will always be a set number who will deny anything if they believe it will hurt the other side. I believe global warming is occurring. I also believe that man is contributing to the effect. What I don't believe is that man is the overwhelming cause. We should all strive to be environmentally friendly because it is in our own best interests. What is not in our best interests is to allow traction to extremism which will be more destructive on a personal level than that which they seek to fight. My biggest question to the absolute global warming believers is this. If the evidence is so convincing then why do so many seek to stifle all debate on the issue? What you find on issues like this is that when one side doesn't want their findings questioned, they are trying to hide something. Most of the people I know who are against global warming want debate and more study on the issue. Most people I know who support global warming what all debate to end and demand that all accept the findings without question. Which side would appear to be more interested in honest answers and evidence? Just food for thought.

The important thing about any scientific theory is that it is a theory. A possibility. There are very few laws in science. When most scientific theories are formulated, the first step is to investigate the other side of it. That didn't happen with global warming. They went straight from "we're going to freeze to death" to "the Earth's going to burn up and it's all out fault" in a single breath.

No one can doubt that there is evidence that the Earth is warming, but the Global Warming doomsayers never tried to figure out why.

Global Warming Theory is..... a theory.

Science can support several different theories without one being definitive. Qualified scientists often have contrastive views, which is why an intelligent person looks at the evidence and makes their own decision based on the facts at hand.

I think it is a good idea to clean up our acts, but I don't believe man is responsible from the evidence and facts given. But it is up to each individual to make choose their own position.

Technically they are right, The gap in the ozone layer causes the suns extremely hot rays to come through. Also the sun is a star which is still expanding, and when it reaches supernova then it will shrink. Right now the gloabl warming problem is a combination of hot rays from the sun and chemicals from factories that create greenhouse gases then lead to global warming. you can search wikipedia for a more defined explanation as i'm sure mine isn't that great!

Find out who the scientists that you are mentioning are. Find out what they specialize in and if they contribute to any science reviews. See if they are even a part of the community they are criticizing.
I'm no expert, but the evidence I've seen is compelling enough for me to want to be a part of helping to change attitudes about the environment and the roles people play in it. I mean, even if it isn't true, wouldn't our world be better served if we were more efficient and less wasteful anyway? And there isn't any evidence that shows CO2 doesn't increase global warming.

I read in USA Today.com that Global Warming is for real according to 100 scientists from around the world. They said man is responsible Is UsaToday.com lying I don't know who is right I tend to believe it will happen The arctic is starting to melt however I don't believe Al Gore or the Sierra Club We need more scientists to weigh in

No, they are not lying. Its a question of scale. We are like ants against Mother Nature. Unless we unleash some kind of full scale nuclear war, we have little effect on the environment of the Earth. The climate changes you are seeing are just phases the Earth goes through. It has been proven that the whole global warming thing is politically driven.

They are right.

Why Is Al Gore Spreading Lies? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlDlEYWUXhns7pqtyjJMdLgAAAAA?qid=20070301095528AAIsY27

1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.

2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.

3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.

4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.

5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time

7) NASA has said that great temperature changes are normal. Just 10,000 years ago, the earth warmed up extremely in less than 20 years. There were not many people around at that time.
NASA:
"Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age "
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Study/Paleoclimatology_Evidence/Images/gisp2_temperature.gif

8) NASA scientific data has shown most of the changes of temperature are due to changes in the Sun. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all have global warming right now

9) Also, strong hurricanes are normal. Hundreds of years ago, they used to sink ships off of the coast of Florida.

10) THIS GLACIER DIDN'T EXIST 7,000 YEARS ago. And that was after the Ice Age.
"A few thousand years ago, there were no glaciers here at all"..."Back then we would have been standing in the middle of a forest"
