If you let the media represent the country, it seems extremists drive the political atmosphere on both sides: You’re either Anne Coulter or Michael Moore. Is the country really this seriously divided? Or do we have more middle ground than it seems? And if there is middle ground, how do we bring that to the nations attention, and use it to start an intelligent and reasonable discourse between the two polarizations of politics? Is there any way to compromise between the two?

So weird. Apparantly no real useful purpose for Armitage, Scooter, Karl Rove or most likely Cheney to have done so except as a sophmoric move?

Isn't that just a pretty childish way to approach a situation where another party doesn't hold your faulty opinion??

Was Joe Wilson out of line by writing an op-ed piece? He didn't have the right to communicate his own personal experience?

So basically because Wilson submitting an article goes against the grain of this administration's vow of secrecy on everything his wife's career gets flushed?

All those involved parties ought to be massively ashamed of themselves for failing to act like adults.

Why don't we see any other group out there besides Hispanic groups championing for illegal immigrants "rights?" Is it that Hispanics care more about illegals than others? Is it that no other group, such as Africans, Asians, Canadians, Australians, etc., etc., cares about their people as much as Latinos because at last count, they (Hispanics) weren't the only group that have an illegal immigrant contingent here in the US? Is there some sort of conspiracy to make themselves the majority in this country (in which they will be if the current legislature the Senate is proposing becomes law; also, if current immigration levels continue to rise; plus, this isn't something that I made up, but read in a book by a Latino)? Why is this so?

I was giving power of attorney on a 15 year old child. At the time she was 5 months pregnant. Her stepfather gave me the power of attorney on this girl. When the baby was born the mother and father of the baby granted me power of attorney over the baby (both mother and father of the child was 16 at this time.) Now that the mother is 17 years old she gave me a Revocation of Power of Attorney on her. She stated that she is of legal age so she can revoke the Power of Attorney that I was granted. And told me that the power of Attorney over the baby is revoke because she is of age.

If you tolerate homosexuals shouldn't you tolerate people that disagree with homosexual weddings?
If you tolerate abortion shouldn't you tolerate people that disagree with abortion?
If you tolerate affirmative action, shouldn't you tolerate people who disagree with that?
How much do you tolerate?

In other words, do you tend to mimic your parents political positions because you find them convincing or have you adopted an entirely different set of political views completely incongruent with theirs.

In a lame attempt to attack liberals.
Matt Sanchez the former marine who claims to have been spit on at a College was formerly a GAY PORN STAR, how does Sean get his head around Matt's previous activity's since he thinks Gays have such a big agenda, isn't he then helping promote that agenda? Think Matt wasn't, well I can't post a link without this getting pulled since the pictures of Matt in "action" are very graphic but google it if you doubt me.

I don't think it's fair. It's why he increased his powers enormously during wartime. Any excuse to stray away from the Constitution's purpose and become closer to a dictator.

I am wondering if Behind Enemy Lines was an actual event in Bosnia.
If so, when did it happen?
What groups of people are involved?
Or is the movie completely fake or only made to show newer, interesting technology?
Could you history buffs enlighten me?

I am not gay. I am also not a gay-basher.

But it seems to me that many "tolerant, nondiscriminatory" liberals as well as many "right-wing, Bible-thumping homophobes" can't resist the urge to gay-bash their political opponents.

So just be honest, with yourself and the board.

Who wants to go on record as saying gays are shameful, and who says that they are not?

Better yet, who here wants to confess denigrating a political opponent by alleging homosexuality, and who has not?

I assume everyone who has is a "gay rights" opponent.

But I could be wrong.

So why do so many on all sides of the political spectrum jump to use homosexuality as an insult?

My husband is stationed in Fort Riley and he is now in Iraq. Before he left we where informed to get a Power of Attorney! So we got a General Power of Attorney because that was what they told him I would need. Now that he is gone no one will talk to me about him because I don't have a Full Power of Attorney!
Q. Why is this only happening in KS.
Q. What can I do!
Q. Who can I complain to about this problem?
I was told by Finance plenty of time that they could not talk to me but I could look at his LES! What the ****! I asked for them to help explain it to me and they said they could not! I called his Rear Detach and they couldn't do much either but e-mail my husband and hope that he gets the time to sign a stupid piece of paper. I also can't go to school because I can't fill out his info on a FAFSA Form because these idiots won't help me find the info I need. Why can I pay all his bills and look at his LES and My Pay I can but they can't talk to me? and the Army is about the Family

Is there an individual you would like to see run for President of the United States in 2008 that has not run established a Political Action Committee and why do you believe this individual would make a good president?

The individual I would like to see run in 2008 is the former Governor of Florida John Ellis "Jeb" Bush who is the brother of the current President of the United States George W. Bush. I believe that Jeb Bush would make a great President because he is a leader with strong working ethics and he remembers to speak the Truth No Matter What and also so that Americans who do not approve of his brother can deal with another four years of another President Bush.
