As long as you didn't make a terroristic threat, there's not much anyone can do to you. No sence of humor is reacking across America, so what can I say? You sound like your just a fun kind of person so let it go man nothings gonna happen. You might not want to do again for a month but don't loose your sence of humor or you'll go MADDDD. E-mail me sometimes when you come off with a good one, I love your type, even if the prank was on me.

It is a crime, although a misdemeanor.

I am 40 now, but when I was a kid we used to crank call bowling alleys ("Do you have 20 lb. balls? Yes? Then how do you walk?)

I mean COME ON ... this is the system run amok ... kids will be kids and all that. The parents should be informed, and left to deal with their progeny. End of story.

Basically it depends on what you said. If you threatened someone, mentioned anything about bombs, guns, terrorism, etc. then you could have some big trouble.

If you just did the "Is your refrigerator running?" type of thing, I wouldn't worry too much. Most you'd probably get for that kind of thing is a verbal reprimand.

You should be happy they called the officials because it they had taken things into their own hands perhaps the trouble the law gives you could be minor compared to what could happen.
