There are a lot of unloved children out there who were not aborted, but who are caught up in the system. These children, particularly the older one are children who are suceptible to abuse and are the ones who often become pregnant before they are ready for a variety of reasons.

If a person is really pro-life, why are they not providing love and care for the thousands of foster children within our system. These children need your love as much as the unborn ones whom you are fighting so hard to save. Be proactive about our children's futures and foster!

Will they start making snide remarks to white people like "Well, look who's the President now", and will the blacks who are out on the streets start more trouble because they would feel entitled to?

I recently had interactions with a police officer in the community I live in. I was shocked to see a "kid" looking police officer. After speaking with him, I found he was 21 and only a few months on the job. He honestly looked like he was maybe 16 at the most. I was not the person being arrested, but he was treating the violater very rude and almost unethical. I decided to research and found that with a clean record, 21 years old and a H.S. diploma or GED, you can be a pd officer. Shouldn't we require a little more for a job with this much responsibility? Like 25 age limit and minimum college hours or degree? I really felt like this kid and I will call him a kid, was blinded with power and authority. Scares me to think he has a gun and authority to use it. I guess if we need them, we will do what we need to and hire them. I just feel like we need to raise our standards in regards to the responsibilities of that position.

I am getting married in July and am curious as to what happens to each of our assets once we are married. I own a condo that is under mine and my father's names. Does my fiance automatically become a part owner once we are married, or do I need to file paperwork? I live in Wisconsin.

I know there are good and bad in every group but what percentage of cops do you think are corrupt. I don't just mean take bribes. I mean abuse their authority, bypass people's rights and / or use excessive force?

Think about it. The Iraqi soldiers are only loyal to their Shia/Sunni/Kurdish backgrounds, and not loyal to their country. They never have been loyal to Iraq, itself, throughout Saddam's brutal regime. They were forced to take sides with their religious backgrounds for protection and whatnot. Take a history lesson and you will understand.

Many join the Iraqi military in order to steal weapons to fight with in their Shia/Sunni/Kurdish ranks. This is why much of our Iraq War funds are unaccounted for. Bush's plan to create a unifying Iraqi military has all the odds in the world stacked against it.

So, now, I'm sure you can understand why the Bush administration admitted the plan should not succeed if the Maliki government does not do its job.
And frankly, the Maliki government has not given us any reason to keep faith in them.

John Edwards was on Face the Nation this weekend. I listened to his interview. It was odd. He was giving straight answers to most of the questions. You really don't expect that from a politician.

When asked if he would raise taxes, he said YES, and he said which ones he would raise.

When asked about his vote to authorize force in Iraq, he said "I was wrong."

When asked what would happen in Iraq if he were elected, he said, "I don't know. I know what I would LIKE to happen, but I cannot guarantee that it will."

Do you think he can get elected telling the truth like that?

I have met a few women like this who are unfit mothers whom the system keeps giving back there children even though there are people who wanted to adopt them thus take the children off the welfare roles and place them in a better safer place but the courts keep giving back her children. Last I heard her children & she were out living on the streets because she is too busy partying up to keep a decent place for them to live. I helped her out at one time and watched it all. There was one mother who was a crack addict and a prostitute whose daughters would come to University adjunct professors elementary classes all upset and dysfunctional because their mom use to sell them out sexually to her clients for crack money & they could not get the children removed from the mother who was being subsidized by Welfare & medicaid also. This is a sin and crime against humanity for our court systems to put the rights of Welfare recipients who are unfit mothers especially at the expense of tax payers.

I just saw a show on TV and they said that since October 12, 2006 it is illegal to dance in public. Is that really true?? Why does government think they can tell us we can't dance whereever we want to? Don't they have better things to do?

He's part Neo con, part progressive, part conservative, part fundementalist Christian, part Bush supporter, part Bush basher, part Washington outsider, part Washington insider, part independent, part reformer, part maverick, part radical, etc.... The guy has got so many parts that he almost wants to be everything to everybody in America (which he can't be) so it's impossible to figure out who & what he really is.

What the heck is he? A moderate, a radical, a progressive, a reformer, someone who will be anything just as long as it gets him elected to the Presidency?

A former employer restricts current employees from giving job recommendations for former employees. I have a number listed as references as I worked at the firm for over 12 years. Is this restriction legal under Texas and Federal employment law? Doesn't this restriction violate my ability to market myself to prospective employers and what are my options short of a civil suit?
