It's been said the illegals are taking jobs we won't do. If we truly need millions of legal immigrants to support our economy, how would you proceed in opening up the process?

I don't approve of illegal immigration, but it is most likely a problem we have put upon ourselves with decades of lax enforcement of the law. How do we turn it around and do it better?

If I recall, when the war first started the US was rather revved up about 9/11. Most people wanted to see something done. When Saddam decided to default on yet another sanction...a sanction the US threatened to use force on if it was not met...it seems as if Democrats have forgotten what really tipped the war off. Sure, the whole propaganda about WMD was misleading, but it was not the factual basis for the war. Democrats and Republicans voted unanimously for action. And now, they blame Republicans and call our president a back woods hick..
Its my opinion that war is necessary to maintail peace. If we hadn't of followed through with our threat to Iraq, we would lose some integrity. We made a threat, and not following through with it would have made us more of a target--and made us appear to be wind bags that don't back up what they say. Whad do you think? Don't you think Democrats share the blame?

OK, the situation is something like this-

Company X has a contract with me, an individual. They owe me something-they have a liability towards me. Now, if a company Y takes X over, (it's a takeover, so X's identity is lost), is Y a stranger to the contract?

It's driving me absolutely nuts. Help, somebody!

these people go and fight for each and everyone of us, even the government, but yet they have to come home and fight for their rights at home also!!!this is a bunch of crap!!!

I seen on the world news last night that these people are comming home from the war with life time disablities from the war and cant even get any assistance.they have to fight for it.

this makes me extremly angery.they should be the first prioriety in this country.

This is for all you patriot conservative republicans. Why are our recuperating service personel being ware-housed in moldy dilapadated quarters. WHY DOESN'T THE COMMANDER KNOW WHAT THEIR CONDITIONS ARE. Why is Bush wanting to do away with the VA Hospital system by 2010??? What kind of support is that??? Use 'em them spit on 'em. I moved in my house 4 and ahalf years ago, my neighbour moved in 6 months later. We are both council tenants. I had had awful noise and anti-social problems with her before but involving my housing officer who threatened her with Social Services seemed to stop the almost contstant music and violence between her and her boyfriends. But things are happening again, I have had her drugged up boyfriends knocking on my door all hours, one even barged past me in my doorway in the middle of the afternoon because he was so high to realise he had got the wrong house. Last year I had to call the police again because men were outside threatening to come back and burn her house down and then last night someone was trying to smash their way through MY front door. I was terrified. Called 999, they were great who came straight out and got this guy. A 'friend' of hers next door who apparantly had no where to stay and was trying to wake her up! I am at my wits end? What should my next step be?

We were united in our promise to never let this happen again. Stores sold out of American flags. We cheered when President Bush vowed to make those responsible pay a dear price. Our country was speaking with one voice. The song "God Bless America" was played on radio stations across our nation in the middle of the afternoon. We cried at our loss. We called our loved ones and let them know we cared. People would stop to allow others to cross the street. Nearly every automobile brandished a flag. Thanks for tearing that apart people. I for one would gladly fight and die for that unity. And now you want to cut and run like cowards? Would you please all move to France.

What could possibly be the reason that elementary school children be taught anything about sexual preferences or anything to do with sex? The judge ruled that the school can teach anything that prepares the kids to become members of our society. This same judge would have to rule against teaching the kids about adam and eve or Jesus. Are these subjects not part of our society? Elementary school children do not need to know about dick sucking or anal penetration to prepare them for society.
