This is for all you patriot conservative republicans. Why are our recuperating service personel being ware-housed in moldy dilapadated quarters. WHY DOESN'T THE COMMANDER KNOW WHAT THEIR CONDITIONS ARE. Why is Bush wanting to do away with the VA Hospital system by 2010??? What kind of support is that??? Use 'em them spit on 'em. Have you not seen the new state of the art facility in Texas they have made to help wounded Soldiers recover, recuperate and rehabilitate... why don't you get your facts straight... also Soldiers who have been wounded can choose to stay in the military in a support role and still collect pay and retirement benefits...

How many times in the last 14 years has Hillary Clinton had a photo opportunity at Walter Reed Hospital. I would bet it would be more then twice. Why did it take a reporter to discover the problems there? How come Nanci Pelosi didn't put it on her 100 hour agenda?...There are allot of people to blame for the poor conditions at that particular hospital, but blaming doesn't help those brave men and women to deal with injuries they have suffered. I would bet that trying to place blame for everything on this administration doesn't help the veterans one bit. If my car goes off the road I don't want to go looking for the guy who plowed the street and blame him for leaving behind a little snow...I just want to get my car out.

if u take a look at things okay iraq has is over run by terrorist they kill the iraqey people and they kill the iraq soilders they kill are's to.
Second bush is not killing soilders so many people think he is we have a voulintary army. AND those 20,000 more troops is to secure the major citys. Dumb people like to say we never found any wepons of mass destruction but we found hundreds of wepons like rocket propelled weapons we found bialogical wepon containers that were once used there still could be more did u know saddam husssein used those too kill people of iran.

Perhaps the better question would be to ask why you are lying.
Did you know that you could volunteer to pitch in and help veterans in a thousand ways? You could go to a home and build access ramps. You could buy a vet's children new bicycles. You could go to a VA hospital and clean if, as you say, you know of one that's 'moldy' - nobody'd give you a hard time, they'd more likely give you a hand. Get your own butt out there and get with it.

The VA hospital system is PERFECT example of what socialized medicine would be like........because it is Government run health care.My father and I know all too well how poorly the system is run...and it has been that way for decades.......long waits for service,poor quality service, and MOUNTAINS of red tape for every little thing.I'm glad we are finally doing something about it! As for Conservatives supporting our troops......there is NO contest between Conservatives and libs.Liberals like the Clintons have always loathed the military,called the troops baby killers and Kerry said they were "terrorizing" Iraqis ,soldiers coming home thru San Francisco were told not to wear their uniforms because of the assault on many who arrived in uniform.And you cannot rewrite history,it was liberals like Jane Fonda who spat on our troops...... its Conservatives who regularly attend rallies and concerts for our brave men and women.

proud of it), and I always support those who have
served and are serving. It is typical of a Democrat to
accuse Republicans. The ones that got spat on were of the
anti-war persuasion (typically Democrats).
