I have a 7 year old daughter who has lived with myself and my husband since she was born. Biological father is now after 7 years filing for visitation. He has never paid child support and has only seen her 2 times she is afraid and frankly I am also. Can he get visitation and any suggestions for me that can help? He has been calling saying he can get custody that court doesnt care if he has ever paid or not that he can still get her. My husband wanted to adopt her he said if I dropped support order he would now he took that back and filed for visitation. After 7 years does he still have rights?

C'mon Cons, you'll defend ANY failure of this administration, won't you?

And before you attempt to pawn responsibility for the squalor at Walter Reed Annex off on the Dem controlled Congress, please remember that:

a) Dems have been in control for only five weeks.
b) Reports indicate that these conditions have existed for at least two years, on the watch of the Repube controlled Congress and White House.
c) As you constantly throw up in our faces here, the majority of military leadership (those most responsible for the poor conditions) self identify as Repubes by a significant majority.

If this is "supporting the troops" I guarantee that the troops wish that you would stop supporting them!

Quite the contrary he is encouraging it . Locking up Border guards, talk of amnesty ( guest worker program is essentially the same thing) . The United States is a country whos existence is threatened by this wave , and sadly it is politicians (on both sides), who are guarenteeing its demise.

This isn't limited to a physical aspect (of course men are stronger and bigger); I'm also asking about intelligence, weapons handling, endurance, etc.

I've seen both extremes on this forum- "macho-man" idiots who make wise-@$$ remarks, and "macho-feminists" who go on a tripe about how sexist men are and how superior a particular female officer is. Sometimes it's hard to find a direct, informed answer.

So please respond only if you have first-hand knowledge and have seen these things for yourself. And please give serious, RESPECTFUL answers. I'm not asking for more PC or more machismo; just be realistic, based on what you personally experienced. Thank you.

Look at this link. Even when trying to insult Gore, they can't even get their facts straight! What braindead, gullible fools they are.

I really want you to express your feelings about the presidents you like and why you would like them to be your president. Oh, by the way I would want a female president.

Why do they not get that a belief in anything or even nothing at all is a religion? Why haven't they been able to discern that our nation's founders didn't want the government meddling in the affairs of the church and knew it was impossible the other way around ("separation of church and state" is code for liberals that means separation of Christianity and state)? Do they not know that ALL LAWS are based on SOMEONE'S morality, and yet, they try to tell us that you can't legislate morality?

Thank you.

There is a war in Iraq. There is a war in Afghanistan. Do you see the difference? What is it? Do you notice the blending of the two in general media?
And finally, what do you think? Of each.

.. without causing trouble, that is.
I live in unincorporated county territory, and the county PD is about 15 miles away in the same building as the county prison (makes me a bit nervous to be in a place like that). I want to get to know the uniforms, badges, equipment, insignia, and names of the county police, so that I can develop a healthy relationship with them and so that I can be more confident about detecting imposters, but my conversations on the phone seem to indicate the preference of utilizing a PR/ombudsman cop by appointment. I'm worried that the PR cop won't give me the complete, or straight story (for the sake of the department's image), and that this disadvantage will work against my best security interests in stressful moments of action. I don't want to feel good about my police (they aren't omnipotent, omnipresent, etc.), I just want to know who they are and how to quickly verify their authenticity and know their basic, standard procedures. What should I do?

People just keep stating that it is only a percentage of Muslims who either perform acts or support acts of terror. Fine, let's just accept this notion. The world population is roughly 1.6 Billion. So let's just say it is 5% of Muslims worldwide are willing to commit acts of terror. What is that number? That is 80,000,000 million people. So what you say? The number of soldiers who served in the Wehrmacht from 1935 until 1945 is believed to be around18.2 million. Let that sink in for a bit. That is nearly 60 million more Jihadists than Hitler's army and this is only a very conservative 5% estimate. There are many who believe Jihadists are a much larger percentage. Remember, it only takes one Nuke to kill millions.

WESTERN WORLD WAKE UP!

My history teachers in school told me to respect my president. I disagree with Bush on almost all of his decisions and speak out against them, but I don't call him Hitler or say that he is evil and unamerican. I try to defend my positions with facts. Both sides are quilty and when you say that your former president raped little girls or that your current president is Hitler well I think that is wrong. Remember your officials were elected by your neighbors and co workers.
