There is a war in Iraq. There is a war in Afghanistan. Do you see the difference? What is it? Do you notice the blending of the two in general media?
And finally, what do you think? Of each.

The Afgan war was started as a retaliation of 09-11-01 to dismantle and disrupt Al-qeda and the Taliban. The war in Iraqi was to enforce a UN resolution on WMD's. Although the media is trying to tie them in with each other they are two seperate wars.

Yes there is a difference. Afghanistan. Repression of any civil right. Name it. I would love to see what the American Woman would do when told that they would have to wear a Burka and if they didn't they would be killed. I have met and talked with at length the first Afghan Sergeant Major of the Army. The people there are very grateful for our presence and getting rid of the Taliban. Iraq. You live under a regime of terror, where if you are the wrong sect of a religon you maybe executed. Think about it.
The media tends to blend everything and anything to their point of view. When was the last time you saw anything on the news where the US Military has built schools, hospitals, sewage systems, etc... never. They base all their ratings on what ... violence and kill numbers. Go figure....

There is no difference. We are fighting the enemy on many fronts, the two most notable are Iraq, and Afghanistan.

You haven't seen anything yet. It's going to get very bad (for them).
